Clean, comfortable affordable accommodations in the heart of Toronto. A quaint, quiet place to stay. Close to major attractions. Located in the very heart of the Gay Village. Very accepting of 'Alternative' lifestyles.

B&B in row house in Toronto's gay village. Comfortable bed. Thin walks so it is bit noisy - can hear others snoring, doors opening, etc. Breakfast is mostly cereal and Folgers coffee. Friendly proprietor. Well located close to transit, sights, etc.

I usually stay at the chain hotel when I travel but recently decided to explore more of the B&Bs... I chose the Downtown Home Inn because of its central location and its larger apartment where I stayed even just for 1 night. I was greeted by Unal, the owner. What a nice guy! very friendly, approachable and ready to help.... More

Having spent more than two weeks in Downtown Home Inn I totally agree with the most of the reviews. The place is located just off Church street (one block from the main Toronto street - Younge). If you do not mind a bit of walking, you do not need to buy any tickets for public transport. House is very well... More

1. Place is located in the Church-Wellesley area. 2. Clean place. 3. Received an email from Hayden welcoming us. 4. Very pleasant man and willing to suggest and help with our tour of the city ESP with directions. 5. Only issue was the room we stayed in wAs too warm at night. Stayed at tulip room which we loved I... More

A couple weeks ago I traveled to Toronto for a little get away with my mother. We didn't want to stay in a cookie-cutter hotel, we wanted to be able to stay somewhere that offered us an opportunity to see more of the city. Downtown Home Inn was exactly what we were looking for. It has the perfect location for... More

Clean rooms, good breakfast and many restaurants and bars nearby. Train station not far away either, easy access to downtown. Beware of parking though. Owner helped setup parking arrangements. Not very expensive for street parking, but you have to pay for and print out a pass that allows you to park on a specific street. To unload your vehicle, I... More

Our stay here was an interesting experience. When we arrived we found a note on the door with our name on it with the door code and other info we needed. The only thing not included were parking instructions, this house is on a dead end street with no parking. We called the number in the letter and we were... More

We spent a night there the host was so great greeted us as we arrived. He prepared our room right away. The room was comfortable with a TV and Wi-Fi works good, I slept like a baby and never heard a sound . There was a lot of variety for the breakfast and the possibility to cook food at anytime.... The Inn is a house with maybe 5 rooms available for rent. The location is right in the village and there are many restaurants in the area. It is also walking distance from Dundas Square (the main tourist square in Toronto). We had a clean room and a comfortable bed - exactly what we wanted when spending time in Toronto... More
