When we first entered the hotel our thoughts were nice hotel. We got to our room. First thoughts were it was very old & needed updating. Spending $240 + for this room was way over priced. The sofa & office chair are ready for the juke. Very uncomfortable to sit on. The first bedroom inside the door. The wall under... More

I travel a lot and sometimes I don't have the best experience in the hotel but at Ramada it's a very special story. At the front desk people are very cold, no smile, no "hello", just someone who wants his money. Then, I arrived in my room but before the corridor was absolutely a mess, Garbage everywhere, box of pizza,... More

Our room was a 2 bedroom suite. I was very happy to find a hotel that could sleep our whole family without having to get 2 rooms. Check-in was quick and easy. The elevators are quite small, our family usually had to wait for an empty one to all fit. The room looked nice. The beds and pillows were very... More

We stay here almost every time we come to toronto for our appointments at Sick Kids hospital. It has always been clean and the staff have always been very polite and helpful. The only issue we have ever had was this last time our non smoking room smelt like smoke.

Stayed for seven nights in November with two friends. After reading reviews we were a little worried, what a pleasant suprise our room was large and clean,, maybe a little dated but for what we paid was more than we expected. Had breakfast one morning that too was above expectations, staff on reception were friendly and pleasant. A really enjoyable... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
