I know parking is hard to come by in the big cities, but I don't think you should pay to park at a hotel you are paying to stay at. With a added 60 plus dollars for two days of parking just pinches your wallet and make your couple days off that much more not worth it.

My girlfriend and I have chosen Ramada due to its location on Toronto downtown and nothing else. The hotel is well located with easy access to Street car or subway, maybe 2 or 3 squares walking. Regarding location, we just didn't like a abandoned house ~50m away from Ramada, still on Jarvis street what may be used by homeless people... More

Everything was great with our stay: the staff were helpful, the location was central and the room was in an excellent condition and very large. On the downside, the parking was quite costly and the internet rather slow.

I recently stayed at this Ramada for the length of a conference hosted by major universities in Toronto/GTA. Although I received a handsome discount thanks to the pre-arranged conference rate, I was very dissatistified with my stay for one specific reason: the hotel room needs updating and a deep clean! There was dust on almost every surface, and mildew or... More

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The only downside was that the bed wasn't all that comfortable.

We stayed at the Ramada Plaza hotel on August 5 -10th. The first thing I noticed it that there are stairs at 2 building entrances, making it difficult for handicapped entry. The building itself is nice, but the elevators could probably stand to be updated. They made groans and creaks as the doors opened and as they climbed the floors.... More

Stayed here for a friends' getaway weekend in T.O. This is my fourth stay and I'm always satisfied. When I arrived there was a problem with my room and I was downgraded, but they comped the parking for both of my cars and restored me back to my King suite the next night! The staff is always helpful and pleasant.... More

All in all this was a good hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. We booked two rooms with double beds (to sleep 3 people per room) and we ended up with two rooms, each with two double beds AND a seating area with a pullout soda bed, which was nice in terms of space and offered us a place... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
