I really liked this hotel, it was nicely decorated, had spacious rooms, was very clean. The restaurant was very nice and not too expensive. Beds were comfortable, the shower/tub was very nice. However, a big problem for me was the sound. I am not a light sleeper, I sleep through horrible storms usually. But I had a big problem here.... more

I was in Toronto with work and chose the Ramada because it was a much cheaper option to where the conference was. The room was great and very clean with all the facilities I needed - perfect. The location was fine - near to all shops and about a 20 minute walk to the front. The only down side was... more

The hotel was clean and staff all very friendly. I stayed one night in a regular room. The room was clean but a bit dated. They had done some recent renos but it seemed a quick job. One very odd thing about the room was that the TV was situated in a cabinet with doors that limited the view from... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was a bit dated but clean and spacious. The bathroom was a bit small. Free Wifi was available in the room. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We ate breakfast and one dinner in the hotel’s ‘Shades’ restaurant and the food and service were very good. There was a computer... more

Well I have to say we were very pleased with our two night stay at the Ramada in downtown Toronto. It can be quite hard to find a hotel room for 5, our room was very spacious and all the beds were extremely comfortable. The room itself was decorated well, room was a little dark and the bathroom needed to... more

The good points: 1. Suite. Two bedrooms with a living room. Perfect for a family traveling with three children. 2. Front desk was very nice. 3. Indoor pool. A travel must for us. The bad: 1. Its really not close to anything. Its a $15 cab ride each way. 2. The neighborhood -- while safe, Im told, is not all... more

Clean, large King Suite with fridge and microwave and eating area. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Good location close to a lot of downtown attractions. The park across the street is a little seedy but I wouldn't let that deter me from staying here or even from walking around at night, although I would stay on the west side... more

After 12 hours of traveling with 2 young children (2 and 4 years old), we were so happy to finally arrive at our hotel. We had booked a double room, but we were told we could also have a suite for a small supplementary cost, so that's what we did. The suite was just great! 2 big rooms, a nice... more

Although it was the height of vacation season, the hotel seemed to have many empty rooms -- the recession of 2009 undoubtedly being the reason -- and upon arriving, I was immediately upgraded from the standard room I'd reserved to a suite at no additional cost. The suite was spacious, attractive, well cared-for, and for being as close as the... more

The hotel was a little way out of the city centre, but within walking distance of most attractions, and certainly had good public transport links. The staff were helpful, and we were upgraded to a suite on arrival, which was lovely. The suite was spotless and was a lovely place to return to after sight-seeing. The restaurant was handy and... more
