Can walk to anything restaurants, pubs shopping.etc I went out the first two days for breakfast and on the third decided to try the hotel. Turns out no need to go out the breakfast buffet is one... Stayed for business for one night. I really liked the location with shops and restaurants around. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable. My room didn't really have a nice view outside. There is a Starbuck coffee in the Hotel if you want another alternative to the usual overpriced hotel breakfast I would definetely stay there again on my next... More

The only bad thing I cam say about this place was that in our room there were no curtains. And that wasn't a big deal as we were so high up. The service was great, very helpful staff. The subway was nearby so the whole city was at your feet. There's a really handy Starbucks in the lobby also.

Yes, the rooms are a little small and could do with some cosmetic updating. But how much time are you spending in your room, when your hotel is conveniently located to the subway line to get you to the Blue Jays games, and is a short walk to the Hop On/Hop Off tour bus? Great staff and extremely comfortable beds!

Arrived in the late evening, staff were very helpful and quick. Room was clean and spacious. The hotel was in an excellent location for walking tours of the city. The staff in the lobby were also able to help organize a day trip to Niagara falls which was a fantastic experience and reasonably priced.

Stayed here with my husband and two kids in August. Parking was a complete hassle as we had to drive around back of the hotel and underground to park. The turn radius is incredibly small and we had a lot of trouble getting in and around with our mini van. We left our car there until departure and took cabs... More

Although we have tried to make the most efficient use of space in the rooms as possible, we understand they may be tight for a family of four. The hotel is conveniently located, very clean and staff are friendly. We did experience a couple things that I felt was important to write about. First, when we checked into our room, the bill for the previous guest was on the floor. The bill has his name and address on it, which from a privacy standpoint is absolutely awful. It... More

This hotel is clean and up-to-date with a nice lobby which includes a Starbucks and a bar / restaurant. While the rooms are a bit small, they are modern and certainly adequate. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. However, the hotel is close enough to Yonge Street to keep you up at night with sirens blaring away at all... More

After a long night with a few first impression short comings I wrote a less than favorable review of this hotel. Having been here a few days now I can say that I was way too harsh too fast. Yes, the rooms are still on the small size, but as to the issue I had with the shower/walls someone from... More

Good location, friendly hosts, very small rooms. In the weekend we stayed there, it was very noisy all nights. Swimingpool was not clean and towels missing at the pool. Nice thing: kids eat free at their quite good (sometimes busy) restaurant.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
