I booked a double room a few weeks before we were due and was given a confirmation number as well as giving my credit card details to secure the booking, so you can imagine my surprise when me and my friends arrived after a flight from the States to be told there was no booking at all! The front desk... more

If you want an inexpensive, clean, friendly, conveniently located place to stay in Toronto, this is it. If you want a big room, a fancy lobby, great views, don't stay here. I stayed here four nights and it was entirely adequate. The front desk staff were very helpful. The FREE FULL BREAKFAST was good and the waitress was very nice.... more

Terrible experience! Considering I paid $90 in Niagara for a king suite, I thought that paying $140 here for a double room would be alright...think again! Terribly squished together, the two beds were almost connected (had it not been for the little crack between the beds, my boyfriend would have been in the other bed!), and it was soooooooo small!... more

Upon arriving at the hotel we were a little unsure as to where the parking was. The man at the desk checked us in quickly and was extremely helpful. He even walked us outside and pointed to where the parking was (although it was a block away.) Upon our return, he offered assistance to help us with our luggage. The... more

This hotel is one of the worst hotel I had ever stayed in. First there is no parking for our friends who drove us to this hotel. And the time we got to the reception, it was about 4:30pm, we were being told that one of our rooms weren't ready and had to wait for 20 minutes or so. We... more

Hotel and neiborghhood both run down (although street cars are interesting). Hotel photos look borrowed from somewhere else compared to the real condition. Convenience of the location exaggerated. For example, distance to CN tower is 3.2 miles by mapquest but stated as 1.5. Overall pool value for pleasure travel. more

Terrible area.. right next to a hospital and very run-down in general. No parking at hotel.. have to park at the health center down the street. Check out was at 11 and we arrived at 345.. were told we had to be there by 4 or they'd give our room away- our room wasn't ready. Hotel lobby grungy.. needless to... more

Apparently, this place is under new management, but we had a room with two beds that also included a sofa bed and a refrigerator we weren't expecting. The room was clean and housekeeping politely worked around our rather random schedule. Because of meeting up with friends who didn't want to drive, we occasionally had more people in our room than... more

I stayed there for four nights, between 04/18 and 04/24. I did my pre-paid reservation before looking at the comments on this website. Needless to say,I was quite reluctant to go there. But it was quite surprising : indeed, there's a new leading team in the hostel since January, 2006. I stayed in two rooms during this time (since I... more
