Room was fairly clean, beds were comfortable. The location wasn't the greatest as this hotel is located next door to the street car yard, so it was noisy all night. My main complaint was that there were no face cloths or hand towels in the bathroom, just large bath towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did receive a... More

When we go away we just really need bed and breakfast and this hotel is great for that. It's not the most modern or stylish hotel but when you're out and about in Toronto none of that matters and you've got extra cash for your trip. One tram ride and your right in the heart of Toronto. The staff were... More

Having stayed at this hotel two years in a row (with my recent stay including 2 room bookings), I'm able to make a reasonable assessment of the quality. This is clearly a low-budget discount hotel in terms of their maintenance and services. My most recent stay included 2 rooms, both with double beds, for approximately $92/night for each room. One... It's the second cheapest hotel in the city, and for that I was expecting a run down shack, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was bothersome to not have access to a fridge, but we managed with a cooler. The wifi was annoying to work with, but not bad once you got all connected. We were more than happy with... More

We had a pleasant 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lack of an elevator presented a slight problem since my husband needs a walker at the moment. However, we managed. Our room was small but clean. There are a number of restaurants and a good jazz bar further North on the same street and... More

The room and the hotel are both quite small even for two people. There isn't a lot around other than a McDonalds and a Burrito Boys but there is a streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Housekeeping staff walked in on us too so make sure you lock your doors!!!

The room is about the size of my closet at home, very old building but, for the price can't complain - certainly not an up-scale hotel and not in an up-scale neighborhood.
