Looking at other peoples pictures of the rooms, I think they must have been refurbished since then, as the rooms were very modern, wood floors, up lighting, flat screen TVs etc. The hotel is in a good location, just ten minutes walk to the CN tower and ten minute walk to the Eaton Shopping Center. There is no parking at... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback with the travelling public. The top 5 floors(Executive Rooms) have been completely gutted out and redone to suit the needs of todays traveler. All modern conveniences of ipod docking stations, flat screen TV's, clean lines of contemporary custom furniture and hygiene of wood floors and california shutters have been incorporated. The sleeping experience has... This hotel has a great location a half block from Union Station, but the value prooved to be a false economy. The room for one was tiny and awkward. The bathroom so small it was almost useless and the tub uncomfortable if you intend to soak. There is no desk, so business travellers should know this. The decor was new... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your compliments on the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel, superb location and service. Your description of the room sounds that you stayed in an "Economy" room. We have a couple of these very small rooms adjacent to the elevators. They are very basic and good for an overnight individual traveller on a budget. We try or... More

This hotel is perfectly located in case you need to get to Union (train) station or the financial district. It's opposite the Royal York Fairmont hotel (ie the airport bus stops there). I booked the place to sleep over after a late night flight into town, and the need to catch a train the next morning. The rooms are ok... More

Dear Guest I went up to the room to understand the issue and realised that the operating instructions required both the fan and the temperature knob to be on either red or blue and if the fan was in off position the air conditioning was switched off. Further research showed that all PTAC units manufactured today have the same control... More

Am I right, Isn't the only job of a good hotel: customer comfort? The rate was much higher than quoted with my via rail package. i wish I had gone across the street, (That hotel has a doorman, ambiance, coffee, nice guests, amenities, quoted at only 25 dollars more. I had just come from 5 days on the train. Via... More

The hotel is located pretty centrally, not far from union station. The rooms look newly done; wood floors, new linens, fixtures. The alarm clock was an iPod player and the TV was nice. The bed was comfortable and big. The bathroom was also very clean, the shower had good pressure. The sink was a little amusing....not sure if they were... More

Had a dinner event at the Royal York, just around the corner, and the next day a conference at the MTCC, a short block away! And for a fraction of the cost of the Royal York or Intercontinental! Rooms were modern and clean and I would definitly stay there again... only thing was the hair conditioner in the bathroom was... More

we were moved to this hotel, because ours was over booked. the rooms are very clean, and up to date. The staff is very limited on the english lanuage. they also are rude. parking is to far form the hotel, if you are young and in shape it is no problem, however you almost need a taxi to get to and from... We stayed in room 401. The room had been newly repainted and the bed was new. TV was old fashioned but access to plenty of cable channels. The room was quite small however there was adequate room for 2 of us and we stayed 10 nights so had a lot of luggage. The closet was very small and some of... More

There is no parking associated with this hotel so if you have a car you have to park it in any number of parking garages nearby..the only downside to that is that for 2 days in a garage costs $76 USD. The pictures online of the rooms are not at all what the rooms really look like. We got a... More
