Booked last minute and got a great deal for downtown T.O. When I checked in they had me booked into a smoking room and were also going to charge me $25 for my little dog to stay...luckily they switched me after I made a comment about how they don't charge people to smoke but they charge to bring a non-smoking/non-stinking/non-barking... This hotel has a great location but I found the desk staff to be standoffish and cold. When I asked for an extra soap it seemed to be an imposition. I had to have my card redone and this also seemed to annoy them. Great food at the restaurant but it was very pricey. The bar staff was great however.... More

I booked my room at this hotel through Hotwire. When I opened the door to the room they gave me (on the 9th floor,) I was blown away. It looked NOTHING like the photos on their web site. Everything was outdated, dingy, and cheap looking. The television was ancient. No exaggeration, I doubt the room had been upgraded since the... More

I stayed here for 2 nights when the temperatures were in the low 80s - what really ruined the hotel for me was the appalling air conditioning. It was just far too hot in the room and the windows could not be opened. However, this was the cheapest but most central hotel that I could find, so in terms of... More

We stayed for 5 nights on our honeymoon We were upgraded to a suite - which was 2 rooms with an adjoining door. However there was a lot of space and 2 bathrooms Good points: - Very clean - Spacious room Bad points: - Poor views from the rooms - A very noisy generator outside which kept us up most... More

We booked the room through hotwire and got a king size bed. When we got to hotel, we could not park underground (the lever would not open), there was no one outside to offer the valet service so we parked in the lot just outside the hotel. It was convenient but a bit more expensive than the hotel's charges. When... More

Stayed overnite in this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, well appointed. The price was reasonable for Toronto. Would definately stay here again. Only thing I would suggest is that you fix the tub taps. When you pulled the lever up for the shower, there was still quite a bit of water coming out of the spout. Not a big... More

We stayed here for my graduation from U of T, and brought both sets of parents. After booking, we read some of the other reviews, and were a little concerned. My wife and I have stayed in them all: dingy Cairo holes in the wall, exquisite 5-star resorts, and others in-between, so we weren't worried about our stay. We were... More

The airport shuttle dropped me off right infront of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful and polite throughout my stay. My room was clean and from the 16th floor I had a great view of the CN tower. However, the restaurant in the hotel is definitely not worth it. I paid $11 for a spinach salad that had... More

The covering of dust in the room was like nothing I'd ever seen in even a motel before. Truly gross. Clearly no one had stayed in our room in a long time. Wait times at the front check-in and out were extremely long (1/2 hour), and the parking situation at the hotel sucked (actually it was non-existant - we had... More
