The hotel is good, little dated but acceptable. The staff Peggy and kristina are superb. I had a problem and angelina didn't want to know but Peggy and kristina sorted it straight away. This is the fourth time I've stayed at this hotel and I'm back there this weekend. Good but not 5star.

The hotel has always been, and continues to be an acceptable, if not exceptional business destination. Have stayed there many times for work. The bar food is OK, although typically expensive as hotel restaurants always tend to be. Access to amenities outside will normally involve a taxi or a drive as there is little in the neighbourhood. Beds were not... More

I always try and review properties I stay at first as what are they trying to be. Here you have a 60's property that had a major investment in 2012 so that the lobby, hallways and some of the rooms were upgraded, so purchase the renovated room in your booking where carpets, furniture etc has been upgraded. The hotel aspires... More

Redeemed a Wag-jag coupon for a 1 night stay. Upon check in, the front desk requested a printed form of it. I used their business computer at the back (laggy and slow), and despite attempts to inform staff the computer was not functioning, they didn't seem to be bothered or to help me, and i had to step up and... We recently spent a weekend at the hotel. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown Toronto. The lobby is fully renovated, with modern furniture and beautiful colors. The room wasn't, but we could see that is a lot of renovation going on, so probably they would be updated. Anyways, the room was clean and warm, the beds were very... More

Reasonable rate hotel for high-priced Toronto. Hotel is about 1 block from Eglington Exit on Don Valley Parkway highway.(somewhat hard to find the first time). About 15 minutes from Downtown during non-rush hours. Had room 269 facing exterior parking lot which was a quiet location with minimal traffic noise. Has on site parking for a fee. Half block to Tim... More

I just spent a wonderful romantic evening at this hotel with my wife. The price of the deluxe room is reasonable, though being charged parking on top of that is a bit much. It is Toronto though, so you get charged for parking almost everywhere you go. It's no surprise for us as we live here. The receptionist said that... More

This hotel is located rather far away from the excitements of Toronto. If you want to see Toronto, this is not the best location. To our surprise there was no bell service at all, the receptionist seemed to be working alone, and you have to struggle with the suitcases since you have to go up a half-floor stair to get... More

My boyfriend and I stay at this hotel once a week or more, he lives with his family and I have roommates so it allows us some private time. We always book on hotwire and get a decent rate. Recently the staff has come to recognize our faces and frequency of visits and Liz was kind enough to upgrade us... More

I stayed at Don Valley because it was close to the company I was visiting for work. With traffic it took almost an hour to get there from the airport but it was nice being close to work for the rest of the trip. I was a cold snowy week in Toronto so I spend most of my free time... More
