opted for the upgrade to the "newer" rooms and were very glad we did (heated bathroom floor....mmmmm).... not sure I would've wanted to be in the older section. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Indoor parking would've been handy (major snowstorm that night). It was very handy for our purposes (dinner and a movie at Yonge & Eglinton) but otherwise... More

We booked this for our cross country travel, it looked so beautiful. Travelling with two dogs our choices were limited. We got to the hotel, lobby was beautiful and we were excited to see the rooms. Be warned if you are staying with pets you are down a dark and dingy hall, the rooms stunk so bad and we had... More

I love this hotel. They say they are an urban resort - and this is true. Nestled in the valley, they offer a quiet, comfortable and friendly place to stay, with reasonable parking, a restaurant and bar, and indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel is located a quick walk to the Eglinton bus to the Toronto subway. The staff are... More

We stayed there 3 years in a row because it's close to a work conference venue. The first 2 years were very nice, clean, older hotel but it was a nice stay, this year, however, when we arrived at 4:30 which is well after check in time, the rooms still weren't ready, and when we did get into our room,... We stayed here because the hotel is close to Sunnybrook hospital. The hotel lobby was beautiful. the room was clean but dated. We asked to upgrade to a room with a queen bed rather than 2 doubles but were told they have no queens only kings and they were all full.Just an average hotel. We would probably stay there again... This hotel looks great on the website and even persuaded me over another hotel. However, it's VERY TIRED and dated and is total crap for the cost. Right away I could tell the hotel was tired. 1. The ramp leading up to the parking and front entrance is a bit dilapidated. It's breaking and cracking in a few spot in... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience, and I am sorry your visit was anything less than perfect. I do however feel compelled to address your comments to ensure you know your comments are reviewed. 1. The ramp is actually corrugated and heated with grooves in it to allow for the safe escape of water as... More

We really got a great deal on this one off Groupon "$119 for a 2-Night Toronto Getaway with Parking". The room was average. You had to drive to get anywhere (nothing within walking distance). The pool was mouldy so while my daughter had been very excited about the pool it was really a let down. The room itself was average... More

My boyfriend and I stay in this hotel quite often, I have a roommate and he lives at home. Every time we stay here the staff continues to exceed expectations. Ekaterina at the front desk recognized us and the frequency of our visits and she upgraded us to a deluxe suite. The rooms are fabulous, both the standard and upgraded... More

My husband and I checked in around 4 o'clock just as we got to our room the fire alarm went off. I called front desk and after a couple of times redialing some disoriented person picked up screaming we need to evacuate. We got scared quickly grabbed our stuff and went to the lobby. It turned out that a pipe... More

Dear Guest, I would first and foremost like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I do apologize for the circumstances that lead to your review. Back in the 80's, this hotel was for many years, a Holiday Inn. Having deteriorated to the point that it couldn't even survive the standards of a Holiday Inn, it has taken on a new life as an independent hotel. The web site looked promising and I needed to stay in the area, so I took a chance. What a... More
