I attended a conference here and was very disappointed with my hotel room and the hotel services. My room was quite outdated, especially the bathroom and just felt dingy. As a business traveller, you expect certain things out of a hotel and the Sutton did not live up to any of these expectations. Internet was $16.50 for 24 hours, the... more

Stayed there twice this week, even got the same room with the same problems even after pointing them out Water control to bath/shower broken Television old and terrible picture No dressing gown on second stay Hotel staff pushed by guests on the lift to get out first Signage has not been replaced in months For the "name/image" it is trying... more

I booked this hotel through Priceline, received a good rate through the site. This hotel was just okay, for a hotel with supposedly such prestige, I feel it didn't live up to it's name or star rating, the room was kind of boring, older style furniture, it needed more lighting. The heating in the room was either way too hot... more

My girlfriend and I have just returned home after a 2-night, midweek stay at the Sutton Place Toronto. We are frequent travelers who usually stay in 4-star hotels and we thought the place was acceptable-to-very good. I got our room on Priceline by bidding $90 per night. With taxes and fees the price climbed to $110.61, which we thought was... more

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone - when we arrived, the front desk staff were rude and oblivious to our very presence. Our room was dirty and there was a general sense of uncleanliness. Water in the shower rose up to our calves and took forever to drain. Staff were snooty and unable to give us simple directions... more

I got a huge room for a low price, with a walk-in closet, a balcony, kitchen, living room and bedroom. The hotel was pretty quiet and very central. BUT... everything looks old and is in serious need of a new coat of paint, the maid did not clean my room, and although local calls were said to be complimentary, I... more

I stayed there for a few day in January of this year. I would only recommend the Sutton Place to an older couple or those that would appreciate an "old-school" feel in the hotel they choose. The lobby, elevator and common areas are very classy. And the furnishings in the room are antique-styled(?). Having a balcony is a nice touch... more

What a disgusting place, pretending to be a posh hotel. Nice foyer, but foyer was the ONLY nice place there. Very dated and dingy furniture, probably 20 years old. Front desk was very unhelpful. Bathroom smelled. Bed was uncomfortable. Never ever would we stay there again. more

We decided to spend New Years Eve at the Sutton. The first room they gave us was considered one of their 'apartment' suites. It was definitely an apartment equipped with a full kitchen, large bedroom, very unattractive bathroom and balcony. The room was VERY dated looking and it did NOT look like a hotel room. It appeared as though the... more

I researched hotels on another site (didn't know about this site at the time). Based on the number of stars this hotel was given, I expected a much better experience. The first room they gave me looked like the maid service was interrupted and never resumed (towels on the bathroom floor, garbage hadn't been emptied). The second room was clean... more
