My friend and I stayed here for two nights while we attended two consecutive night events in Yorkville. We enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious; this was one of the only hotels I could find that had two QUEEN bed rooms, and we appreciated the two comfortable easy chairs as well (also not often found in rooms these days).... We very much enjoyed our stay here for the first week of our vacation. Some of the reviews we read had made us a little apprehensive but we had no complaints. The room was a good size with a desk and two comfortable easy chairs. The bed and bedding were great. Housekeeping were spot on. There was a range of... More

Stayed 2 nights with family who had also booked another room. Purpose was to see two Mirvish shows downtown. Hotel is very well located as others indicate, it was clean and our room was very comfortable. All staff were professional, friendly and courteous. We stayed on 6th floor overlooking the inside of the complex. Not much of a view but... More

Hotel is located overtop of the Young/Bloor subway station giving you easy access to two different lines. It is also attached to the Hudson Bay Center. The location is close to a number of corporations nearby and the proximity to transit is a positive as well as negative. The rumble of the subway every 5-10 minutes as well as what... More

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. It was super convenient - located right above the subway. The shower was great and the extra amenities above the standard shampoo/conditioner and body wash were nice. The room was clean, and nice and big. Additionally, check in was very smooth and the woman working at the front desk was very... More

This hotel is in a great area of Toronto with tons of shopping around and with the subway right under with more shopping and dining options. If you want to walk - is close to many areas and only minutes away in the metro to the harbor. the Village is only walking distance if you are looking for a nice... More

We got a room through a third party site. It was a great deal - the rooms are beautiful, the location is good, and everything is clean. My biggest issue is that wi-fi is available in the lobby only unless you want to pay for it - that just feels greedy to me. It was inconvenient, but we made it... More

Stayed here during the Pan Am Games. Checkin was friendly and efficient. Lobby seemed small for a hotel of this size. I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with French doors leading to the bedroom from a very large living area. They read guest profiles at this property as all amenities requested were present. Very nice and proactive. Large bathroom... More

Clean and spacious rooms. The staff were quick to help out when ever you had questions. The location is perfect and right on the subway line so getting around is super easy from here. Valet parking is quick, no waiting around for your car. On the downside....14$/ day for wifi. Such a large hotel chain should think about free wifi... More

We were so happy with our decision to stay at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel, and will definitely stay there again when in Toronto. The location was very convenient for us, with access to the subway and many stores in the Path connected to the hotel. The room was comfortably furnished, with a sitting area for two people (rare... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
