Typically we do not stay in a city but because we were going to Toronto for a concert, a musical and a hockey game we thought it would be convenient. As a Hilton Honors member I looked to see what could be our best choice but checked out reviews. Some of the early reviews did not sond the best but... more

This Hotel has just been completely refurbished (Aug 2009) and is very handy for all shops and attractions for Toronto Eaton Centre. The location while being central is just a couple of blocks towards a slightly rougher area of town and because of that some people may be concerned about going out at night. The hotel itself was excellent and... more

I spent a week in Toronto on business a really liked this hotel. The room was a great value (size and quality) and hotel was clean and well kept. The staff were most helpful, the morning breakfast was excellent. The lobby and the rooms were new and had a nice efficient design aesthetic . The only issue was the location... more

there's a strip club right behind it! Kind of creepy. The neighborhood is typical of a large metro area...homeless folks hit you up for money right in front hotel. But I did feel safe walking to and from Yonge and Queen streets as there was lots of pedestrian traffic out at night. Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff, nice modern... more

As some other reviewers have pointed out, this location used to be a Comfort Suites hotel. Hilton took over this property earlier this year and has completely redone the place. Fans of the Hilton brand now have several options in DT Toronto. The flagship Hilton Toronto, a Hilton Garden Inn on Peter Street (Entertainment district) and this new offering. I... more

I spent one week at this hotel and I must say that I was so impress with everything, the room was so clean and comfortable, the service was exceptional. I stayed in room 503 and my friends and family called me every minute of the day and I thought that they would have been annoyed to be transfering the calls... more

Spent two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn on Jarvis street to do some back to school shopping with the kids. The two level suites were outstanding!! Had stayed once before a couple of years back in a regular room, but never in one of these suites. The place just completed a top to bottom renovation.......very modern. Really enjoyed the... more

This review is for the Hilton Garden Inn Dundas Street location (it was a Comfort Inn until Aug 1, 2009). Everything in the Hotel is new, therefore the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable: Adjustable beds for firmness/softness, comfortable desk chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, free Wii-Fii, whirlpool tub in bath (with colored lights!). No complaints at all about the... more

Stayed for 2 nights at the new HGI (former Comfort Suites City Centre) and had a positive experience. Yes, there were a few glitches...the property has just been completely renovated and undergone a change of ownership...but any problem we encountered was handled quickly and courteously by the front desk staff. They could not have been more accommodating to our requests/suggestions.... more
