Worst hotel I've ever seen. Turn on the lights in the bathroom and see roaches scurrying about puts you off upon arrival. Then what I can only guess as prostitutes in the parking lot as a view. Avoid at all cost!!!!

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Quebec City. The hotel is a few minutes from Kennedy subway station (which has free parking). The subway ride to downtown is about 25 minutes, though the station was under renovation and we had to take a "replacement bus" to another station along the green line. The rooms overall were... This Comfort is located just outside of the crazy busy of Toronto. You can easily get places and access the 401 from here. What we really liked was the attention to detail the staff had at this location. We had four people in the room and there were four sets of towels waiting in the bathroom for us. We did... More

I went to check-in to the hotel on a Saturday evening around 8:30 to find out that I had made a mistake in my booking and had actually booked for the following night. We were tired and my daughter was writing her MCAT exams the next morning at 8:00 a.m. so I didn't want to run around to find a... More

This hotel is located outside downtown Toronto in Scarborough. For the price in particular, I was very impressed. The staff were very helpful and friendly! The hotel is very clean and well managed and is reasonably close to the Scarborough town centre so you can take the subway and transit anywhere. The breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast but was... More

My daughter and I stayed here for one night in July 2015. It was a sleep stop before returning home from a U2 concert. The motel was perfect for what we needed. Sleep! Quiet and clean with great beds and the shower was flawless. Our room faced the Eastside Motel next door that apparently is home to Toronto's transient homeless.... More

I didn't experience any major problems with it, but it was a very underwhelming place to stay. The entrance and halls smelled kind of funky. On one side of the hotel you have a view of a parking lot, and on the other side is a decrepit sketchy old motel that we all thought was abandoned. (We were later surprised... More

Would not stay here again. The room was upstairs on 2nd floor at end of the hall and they have no elevator. The room was clean, however, with a very comfortable bed and had been remodeled. The rear entrance near the parking smelled of cigarettes on the landing. There was a large dumpster near the entrance with a liquor bottle... More

Dear Guest, We are glad that you enjoyed our clean room and comfortable bed. We do have camers around the Building and security is not an issue. I had trouble finding a decent and cheap hotel in Toronto downtown for our one night stay on our road trip. We are were a party of seven with three smaller kids and grandparents, so I needed something with big enough rooms, parking and again, not too expensive. There were some alternatives in the city, but based on reviews here... More

This hotel has twin double beds and large rooms. It is an older style hotel but very clean and well looked after. Many restaurants nearby of all nationalities and prices. Train station close with a 10 min ride to union sq in Toronto.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighborhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
