Advertised as biggest hotel in Canada. Pool shown in brochure is not the pool we visited. Dark ,shabby outdated room . Balcony not accessible and in a disgusting state. Food very basic , restaurants outdated ,shabby outdoor eating area not suitable due to plague of pigeons - not appealing when trying to enjoy food. won,t be back definetly wouldn,t recommend... more

I stayed here for two weeks in July, while attending a course in Toronto. I initially picked this hotel because it was only one of two in the city with small kitchenettes available. The website must show photographs of some of the few "premier" rooms that have had makeovers, because my room was old, smelled of smokers past (even though... more

This was a very nice standard room at a great rate. It was clean and comfortable and cozy. There were no problems in the room and the beds were comfy. I was a little worried from some of the other reviews but quickly found out that this was going to be a great stay. Even the hallways were clean, bright... more

Recently stayed at the Delta Chelsea for one night. Check-in line is typically long, day or night, so allow extra time. Lobby and restaurants/lounge are spacious and easy to navigate. Second Cup cafe and plenty of food options for those dining in the hotel. Room was old, dreary, and in need of a renovation. Luckily is was not moldy or... more

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We had a standard room. The room was a little small and a little dark. However, it was comfortable since we spent very little time in the room. The kids loved the corkscrew slide at the pool. I would not recommend this hotel for a family with very young children as the pool... more

I felt I was in "the Bank" when we arrived to check in. It was very military style. The room we got must have been one of the cheap rooms. The pool smelled of mill dew but I think I was the only one that could smell it as all the other guest seemed to be having a great time.... more

I met 3 friends in Toronto for the Hockey Hall of fame weekend and we stayed at the Delta Chelsea for a long weekend. (Fri-Mon) This hotel was amazing. The staff was very accomadating and the rooms were very nice. I stayed in an upgraded room which had an entrance foyer, a seperate living room area and bedroom area. The... more

My experience with the Delta Chelsea started before we even arrived at the hotel. I contacted them to arrange a birthday cake for my husband to be delivered during our stay. They were exceptionally helpful and efficient. The hotel itself is massive, there are (I believe) 3 exits onto different streets so you really need to plan your route before... more

Was booked at the Delta Chelsea in connection with a conference, and stayed for three nights in a standard room. The carpet had crumbs on the floor, the bedding was tired, and the sink was stained and had an aged rubber stopper. As a result, the room did not feel clean and fresh. On the more positive side, the staff... more

The Delta Chelsea in Toronto is well located within the shopping district (Eaton Centre). Many would also consider it to be within walking distance to some tourists attractions such as CN Tower, Skydomw, Entertainment district - well pretty much there is to see in downtown TO. The Delta Chelsea is a fairly large hotel and your experience will greatly be... more
