Excellent hotel, couldn't fault it. The location is perfect, 15 minute walk to the waterfront, 20 minute walk to the CN Tower/Rogers centre, 5 minute walk to the Eaton centre, 4 minute walk to Hard rock cafe and other local bars/restaurants. Quiet town over Easter, everything (yes everything!) was shut on Easter Sunday which left us at a bit of... more

Once again I was impressed with the Delta. The annual gathering of friends from across North America was made even better due to the fact that everyone was upgraded at check-in. It pays to be a Delta Privledge member for sure! Rooms were clean and spacious, room service excellent. Check in couldn't have taken more than two minutes. Restaurants, theatres,... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here with couple of friends at the beginning of July. On arrival the building and reception looked quite impressive. The staff on that particular day -although courteous - looked bored out of their mind. The room was fairly spacious with two massive double beds and a balcony from which we had an amazing view from... more

Let me first say, I got there with a "sour taste in my mouth" as Priceline screwed us on the bid. We requested a 4star and got this place which is now listed as a 3.5 star. When we contacted Priceline, the claimed we did not list a 4star(why would we lie?) Even so, we went in with an open... more

I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the past 8 months - each time for business reasons. I'd suggest that anyone staying at a Delta Hotel join the Privileges Club (easily done on their website). Right from the start you get benefits such as separate check in and check out (at least at the Chelsea) and the ability to... more

I was initially concerned when I booked through Hotwire because I'd heard/read some negative reviews of the level of rooms Hotwire gets from hotels, but I decided to get amembership to the Delta Privilege program, which allows for upgrades. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my check-in process was 5 minutes or less, that my room had a great... more

We booked this room through Hotwire and were a bit put off by some of theTA reviews. Based upon what we had read, we requested an room upgrade. The room we had was large, quite and clean. The hotel service was first rate. We really enjoyed the pool, whirlpool and fitness area on the 27th floor, which also has a... more

We booked through Hotwire, so maybe we got a "hotwire" room. The rate was great for downtown Toronto and we loved the location. The lobby area is very well done and the staff is nice. Our room was a disgrace. I'm glad we didn't spend much time in it. The carpet between the room and the bathroom was pulled up.... more

Jul 4, 2009 | Trip type: Family

Delta Chelsea is not a four star hotel. The lobby is nicely designed, but the rooms are outdated and have furniture from the 1980s. In the bathroom of the room that I stayed in, the top of the toilet bowl was full of mold, the bathroom tile was cracked, and the walls had major dry wall repair. The carpet in... more
