If you are looking for a reasonably priced, basic room, this is what you'll get. The immediate neighborhood is questionable (and noisy), but you are SO close to the fabulous Kensington Market District (vintage shops). A single woman might not feel comfortable staying there alone. This "hotel" was completely disgusting. We booked two rooms for a party of 4 and they were both filthy. The carpet was covered in dirt and fluff and was not cleaned at all during our stay. I can't express enough....don't waste your money. Our first impression was this is not a hotel but an apartment building, and very run down. It may be in the downtown area, but when you drive down the side street to get there, it is a run down residential area with the view of laundry hanging out on the front yards.... more
