This hotel is just East of Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square, two blocks. Every room has at least a bed and couch/sofabed, as well as a microwave/refrigerator in my room, which is the smallest they offer, as I traveled solo. The breakfast buffet was good, hot and cold food and during the week it opens at 6AM. There was only two things... More

Nice room, breakfast buffet and the rooftop area is excellent. The wifi was a bit rubbish in the first room we were given but the gave us a different room closer to the router. The hotel is not in the best part of downtown but you get what you pay for. There are a few dodgy characters around. Many thanks... More

We booked through Expedia and somehow got a phenomenal rate. The hotel looks like it is quietly upgrading. Our room was ready early (junior suite), and it was very clean, modern, and had a nice view of the city/water. King bed was super comfy, and robes were not scratchy. Front desk was very helpful, rooftop hot tub was pretty relaxing... More

I chose this place for a single night, as I had an early start at a conference in Toronto and the kids wanted to come along to shop at the Eaton Centre. The hotel is about 4 blocks east of Younge and Dundas Square (yes, the neighbourhood seems a bit sketchy), and convenient to the mall and those theatres like... More

Stayed here for a business trip and wish I stayed longer. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. Everything was perfect. Would come back for personal vacations. The roof top hot tub was amazing at night, especially with the big screen playing music videos.

I had called to reserve a one-night stay at the hotel utilizing a voucher that specifically stated that it "entitles the bearer to a one-night stay….". After being put on hold and bounced around three times, I was finally put through to the reservation manager. Here is what happened: The manager informed me that there were rooms available for the... Very clean, friendly staff and good service. Nice pool/ workout facilities. Especially enjoyed the roof top hot tubs with music videos and spectacular view of the city. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Unfortunately the hotel is past its prime and absent a serious renovation and the neighborhood changing I couldn't recommend it. It is too bad because at least the pm front desk staff and all day bell people are wonderful and eager to help. We were in a king room and changed to a double-which was bigger and brighter. However both... More

The Grand is nice and the service is good but we would have preferred to be closer to downtown. It is easy to catch a streetcar but it is not the same thing as being in the middle of the action. There are a couple of shelters closeby but we were never bothered by anyone. We used the spa on... More

We had a two bedroom suite that was very nice with a small kitchen and living room, it was an end unit so had lots of windows, A very nice buffet breakfast all included in the price. Rather liked the idea they had a two hour free parking for someone visiting. Beautiful rooftop patio.
