we had 2 nights in this apartment and the place was clean & beds comfy. But the room & furniture was very old & basic. I think some of the pictures must be of another better apartment but the place was ok if you just need a place to sleep with no frills

I stayed a couple of days in Toronto. The Hotel is pet friendly, however, I wish that there were more places (such as a park) either on the property or adjacent to it. I had to walk around for a bit searching for patches of grass for my pup. Other than that, check in was simple, I arrived early and... More

Very disappointed, I think photos on their website have been photoshopped. Furniture very old and tatty, kitchen poorly equiped not enough utensils to cook a big meal and cooker wasnt very efficient, some of the rings didnt work, reported it but still not good, one of the knobs came off completely. Whole building needs decorating. Air con very large units... More

I stay here 2 or 3 times a year, and the bed is comfy, my room has ALWAYS been clean, there is a kitchen which is incredibly handy now that LOBLAWS has opened a store right down the street in the old Maple Leaf Gardens. The Hotel is centrally located, right close to the subawy, and if you feel like... More

The rooms are nice enough. plenty of room. clean and maintained daily. the office staff are friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel but it is within walking distance of plenty of pubs or restaurant. Guests like to congregate out the front of the hotel and if you are on the lower floors (namely the second) it is very... More

The check in was easy and friendly. But everywhere you go is dirty rooms are very spacious but poorly maintained and although the bedding and towels were changed not much else was done. My feet got black from walk from kitchen to the bedroom. The location is good and near bus routes and we walked to cn tower in about... More

OK, I'm getting older. I NEED light to see. The kitchen area uses a 30W florescent bulb. The living area uses 2 13W lamps. All floors are bare. The AC is LOUD and so far has run 24/7. It is cooler outside (in July) than inside this 17th floor room. The shower is good. The toilet wobbles when you sit.... More

This hotel was a previously converted apartment building. I recently stayed for almost a week. I was traveling with several coworkers and many of their rooms were not very nice. One had an odd smell like a burnt pan or something that never went away. The higher floors have been recently renovated. I was on 21 and had nice stainless... More

I have stayed at the town inn Suites many times, both for long & short term stays. I hadn't been back to Toronto for awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements they have made at the Town Inn. I always like it here because of the great location, full kitchen suites, and friendly helpful staff, but the furniture... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
