First of all, this is a beautiful hotel, very spacious and clean. I loved the fact that it has a Starbucks, as I cannot live without my coffee. It has an outdoor pool with a rather large pool deck. I loved taking a break from adventuring the city to relax outside by the pool in the sun. And with its... More

I don't know why they rate this hotel as 4 stars? I always stay at a five star hotel but this time I had to stay at the Hilton because the other 5 star hotels were unavailable. Honestly the Hilton Hotel in downtown Toronto should be rated as a 5 star! This hotel is a modern look and is absolutely... More

I have stayed before and this is a very consistently good hotel. Great rooms, nice fitness center (maybe a little small), great bar area, and generally pretty good staff. Easy to get to a lot of places from here. I would stay on upper floors if possible. The lounge is more than adequate for HHonors members with status.

This 1st class hotel is walking distance to the opera house and the Toronto theatre district. There is access to the underground shopping mall & Eaton centre. Plenty of resturants & Union station are also a stones throw from the front door.

I booked this stay on Hilton's website, and booked myself into an Executive level room. Nowhere--but nowhere!--in the reservation process did the hotel advise that the Executive Lounge is closed for breakfast on weekends, and completely closed on Saturday. Given a midnight arrival on Friday, and a 645 am departure on Monday, the Executive Lounge was completely useless for my... More

We went around June of 2013. Location: GOOD. It is proximal to downtown. Proximal to public transportation. You can walk to downtown where there are variety of restaurants around. Hotel: The lobby is decent enough. Clean. Nice choice of interior designs. Modern, sleek and minimal. Room: Is your standard Hilton hotel. Nice 2 double beds. Soft pillows. Amenities is standard... This is a very nice business traveler hotel. The lobby is huge and opulent. The room was nice and quite spacious. The hotel is an easy walk from the Osgoode subway station and there are many nice restaurants in the area. The check in staff were very professional and efficient.

Stayed here for 5 nights with work in an executive King room. The room was very spacious with all required facilities. Good wi-if, desk and tv. Tea making facilities s little poor as it was just a coffee machine with paper cups and no spoons. Shower not the most powerful either. Buffet breakfast included in room rate and was first... More

The Hilton Toronto is a beautiful, luxurious hotel in the Heart of Downtown Toronto. Our room was gorgeous and smelled great. We had breakfast in the Tundra restaurant which was fantastic. My favourite part of the hotel is the employees of the Hilton Toronto -- they never stop smiling, helping and making you feel special. If you can get away... More

Amazing atmosphere - when you walk in, you know that you're going to be staying at a nice place for a while. "Scenic" elevators were interesting. The room I stayed at was quite spacious. Keep in mind that it's an old building, so not many power plugs - only two at the desk and none at the bedside (I like... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
