We were upgraded to a "studio" room which was well appointed including a telescope. Unfortunately we were on the 3rd floor and there was a festival going on in the centre next door. It was a bit noisy. We enjoyed our stay but getting there on Rees street is a real problem. We mentioned this to the hotel and they... More

My sister and I stayed here on our vacation. The hotel was clean and in a great location. Parking was a bit confusing when we got there but the price was good as a hotel guest compared to other hotels we looked at. It's right on the water and walkable to most subway stops, restaurants, and other areas we wanted... More

We loved the roof top pool and poolside services of food and drinks, and also restaurant beside the pool. Plenty of seating, lounge chairs, cabanas, and towels. We were there on a very hot day, however, the pool area was breezy and comfortable. The pool is heated. Really lovely views of Toronto and the Harbourfront with sail boats and other... More

Modern and clean rooms . Kinda noisy which was surprising,no fan in bathroom, and finicky door, but overall ok. This hotel gets busy. With a Starbucks in the lobby and selling tickets to the rooftop pool and providing public parking for the harbour-front which all take away from feeling like a special guest. I wouldn't return. People just seem to... More

Spent a weekend here and it was nice. Room was fine. Location was great, walking distance to lots of stuff. Staff was helpful. Pool setup was great. Parking for $21 a day under the building was convenient and reasonable for downtown parking.

Breakfast was terrible. We Had it once during our 7 night stay and didn't want to go back. Used the underground parking for 4 nights but was charged for 5 nights. When I spoke to the Manager, whose name was Umesh, he said they don't have any record of me calling to cancel parking. There's someone at the entrances of... More

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our property. It is always good to know which areas we need to work harder and have room to improve. I had looked into your account, You stayed with us for four nights and only four night parking charges were posted. Sorry about the confusion of wrong... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
