We found this hotel to be conveniently located to the sites that we were interested in. we arrived a bit earlier than check-in time, yet did not have to wait to get a room. the room was exactly as requested, very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful when I needed to... More

Stayed 5 nights with wife and baby. Not child friendly - their crib was broken, the crib mattress had large chunks ripped (chewed?) out, and they didn't even provide a crib sheet. No fridge in the room to keep milk for baby (but you can pay $10/day for one). They have air conditioning on during the day, but turn it... More

I came here with my mother and we both liked our room very much. We came for a film festival; it's very close to the Bloor Cinema. A perfect location on a lively street in a great neighborhood. Felt safe walking around alone at night. This is right next to the subway, so it's very convenient. The parking garage is... More

Standard rooms that need help! There is a definate need for refurbishment. The only saving is the location so close to Yorkville but really rather quiet. This is a clean hotel, but certainly requires a major face lift More

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times in the past year and will be returning soon, so thought I should write a review. I have stayed alone, and have shared a room with other family members. We first chose this hotel because of its proximity to the University of Toronto. We have returned, because of its excellent location for... More

Let me first clarify the no air conditioning. We visited downtown Toronto early in May and the weather was turning warm and muggy with temps in the mid 20's. While the hotel does have air conditioning some Toronto by-law prevents them from using it between October 1 and May 31. So we had a hot, uncomfortable room at night but... More

Was there for a one-night stay. Chose this hotel because of its location and lately I've been sticking to the Holiday Inn-type hotels (platinum member). Large clean room, fridge in the room, comfy bed. Despite facing a major street I found things to be very quiet. Customer service was very solid as well. Plenty of restaurant choices down the street.... More

Thank you for your wonderful review here on Tripadvisor. We are always pleased to hear when a guest has enjoyed themselves at our location. Being right between the Annex, and Yorkville we are very lucky to have so many restaurants to choose from; whether it is new and hip, or classy fine dining. The store across the street is a... More

Picked this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be for work, and really enjoyed my experience. The rooms were large and well appointed and the bed was super comfortable, especially With the choice of firmness of pillow. The other thing I really enjoyed was that you could open the window a little way to allow some... More

I travelled to Toronto with my 20-something son to visit my older son. I chose this hotel because it was close to where my older son is in school, and in the University of Toronto vicinity in general. I find that good places to eat and things to do are usually within reach of universities. The hotel was a bit... More

Thank you for your great review on Tripadvisor. We are the main hotel for any University of Toronto accommodation, since we are located right in the middle of it’s down town campus. We are located within walking distance to many exciting things, making day activities and meals really accessible. We are also located right next to a subway station, which... More

I stayed at this hotel for one week in February and was totally satisfied with it. The downtown is just a short walk, it's close to the university area, to the ROM, and to Yorkville, the most exclusive area of Toronto with designer shops and fabulous restaurants. The room is ok, the beds are veeeeery big and comfortable, the staff... More
