We stayed here for a week while visiting a friend. Our room was very quiet, clean and well equipped - the coffee making machine was especially welcome - and had a decent view down to the lakeside. The reception, catering and cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also well located. It is 10 minutes walk... More

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as a family traveling to Toronto for medical reasons. We stayed here because of the great reviews it has gotten here on Trip Advisor and from friends and family who have stayed here. This was not an enjoyable trip as it was very stressful, however, everything at the hotel made the trip... More

I had opportunity to stay overnight on couple of occasions at teh Holiday Inn in Timmins The rooms are new as the hotel is newly built this year 2014. The washroom facilities are great and they have good access with folks who are limted due to disability. There is access to local restaurants close by with a Timmy's and for... More

We found the hotel comfortable for our requirements. For us the hotel was within walking distance to downtown and to the Ferry terminal for Toronto Island. The breakfast choice is extensive and certainly a feature of the hotel. We found the basic free internet connection slow although you can pay to upgrade the service. Our room did not include a fridge. We found the... Stayed 4 nights for a family vacation. Pros Excellent location. Blocks from good restaurants, grocery store, gas station, gelato, park. We walked everywhere. Cons A lot, unfortunately. Suggestions for manager... Horrible water pressure. Slowed to trickle in the middle of our showers on 2 of 4 mornings. Fix this. Immediately. Makes no sense that a hotel in 2014 could have... More

We usually have had a good experience with this chain, but we were misinformed by the Intercontinental Hotel on Front Street that this was a good alternative since their hotel was full. The rooms were average but not up to the standard we expect. The carpet had not been vacuumed and the room was extremely crowded with only one desk... More

fab location, breakfast included (needed more GFV selection), close to everything. Walkable, staff were most helpful. Clean rooms. It was a busy wkd and hotel was full. Never had a problem. Not sure why the top 3 reviews state they did.

We stayed here for one night on business in June 2014. I tend to stay in a lot of IHG properties due to status with the brand. That said this is one of the more run-down Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at. I base this also off the price ($200+/night + parking). The parking is very cramped, so... More

TL:DR I stayed here with a couple of friends. It did it's job. The worst experience I had in this hotel was the front desk staff. On my first night I came in late so there were limited spots left in their parking lot (1 left to be exact). I went in the to Lot and every spot visible was... More
