I have stayed at this charming boutique hotel half a dozen times over the years and have recommended it to others. Never again! My room (407) was ridiculously cold last Saturday night and, short of throwing a spare blanket on the bed, there was no way to warm it up. Consequently, I got little sleep. I've often wondered whether I'd... More

Dear Guest: Thank you for taking the time to write. I am sorry that your stay was not as you had enjoyed with us in the past. The unusual cold weather we experienced caused some issues in our B&B including heat problems and frozen pipes. Although we do everything we can in our 23 Bedroom B&B. this extreme cold weather... Stayed here for 7 nights while attending a conference in July 2014. Had a big double room with comfortable king size bed. The room was cleaned every day. The Manor is very close to the subway station if you exit through the back door entrance. It is also close to the University campus and the very crowded by pubs, restaurants... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday. The parking was a bit confusing, but the front desk was helpful in solving the problem. It's a beautiful hotel, but unfortunately it's situated next to a frat house. So be cautious when booking during the school year.

If you are looking for a quaint boutique hotel right in the heart of Toronto this is a good place to stay. Location: close to the U of T, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Annex. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The price for a downtown place was reasonable.... More

Dear Guests: Thank you for your review. Our Madison Manor is an old Fashioned Victorian 23 Bedroom B&B. Our name was established over 14 years ago before the name “Boutique” started to change to mean something else. We are a very large B&B and 14 years ago the average B&B was about 3 to 14 rooms. Our owner is originally... More

If your looking for a corporate hotel, this isn't it. If you arrive after 9, you will have to hunt down a manager in the bar to check in. Once you do you get a unique room, clean, well kept and comfy. Parking is the only issue. You have to book a spot when you reserve your room as they... More

Glad you liked our Victorian B&B thank you. Thank you for taking the time to review our Madison Manor Boutique Hotel, or 23 Bedroom B&B. We are able to offer excellent rates because we are a B&B with limited reception hours, staff and a self serve limited continental breakfast. Our Restaurant Managers assist with the later hours for anyone wishing... More

We stayed here in mid September 2014 - the pictures are misleading - it is very small. The hallways are narrow and jagged, lots of stairs - beware if you have mobility issues - not the place for you. Room was clean, but small. Staff weren't overly helpful, or friendly. The desk is only open during certain hours. An item... More

Stayed for Halloween night to party downtown for a very low rate. The registration office is in one of the pub buildings right next door to the hotel. The receptionist did a quick job of checking me in. It definitely has the old Victorian era look which has its own quirky charm. I stayed in 303, a standard room with... More

Thank for your review. Our Madison B&B & Pub is a 23 Bedroom old fashioned Victorian Mansion, rooms vary in size and no 2 rooms are the same. Similar in size to a residential Mansion, our standard rooms are the smallest. If you are looking for larger rooms, our Deluxe and Suite rooms are a great choice. We are able... More

We decided to stay at the Madison Manor as it was very close to Casa Loma, where we were attending a wedding. It looked very quaint and inviting in its promos. When we checked in, my husband surprised me with the King suite. It was very Victorian and romantic. The bath was updated however and super clean. No bathtub but... More

Staying at this hotel is like traveling back in time. Not in a good way. They just aren't up to date with other hotel services and amenities. External: First off, there is no elevator. We booked to stay five days at the Madison. You only want to stay at 20 Madison Avenue not 18 or 14 although they do have at least one suite in 18. Unfortunately the bathroom backs onto the dance floor in the pub. We spent our first sleepless night there. The next day we were moved to 20 Madison Avenue... More
