Glen Grove on Yonge is the worst hotel experiece of my lifetime of travel. I posted my review on TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor. seems to have chosen to delete my review which was posted in good faith. The place is dangerous and potential customers deserve to know more

Checked in last minute. Got to room started to settle in. As a professional traveler there is a few things I check before I get too comfortable. Like looking behind the head board, and around the edging of the bed and frame. I also look at the surrounding walls. I checked out right after my inspection. I have to say... more

I've been staying at Glen Grove Suites midtown for over two years now. Love it! Great access to the TTC subway (all underground), restaurants, theaters, stores, and other services. It's a clean and quiet place to stay. Management has been very responsive to every request. more

Several months ago the travel agent of my company made a reservation to the downtown location at 50 John Street. When I arrived my room was not available. After waiting for 30 minutes I was told that my reservation had been previously canceled. I called my travel agent and they confirmed that according to their record I had a valid... more

We're disappointed at the guest's misstatement of facts in this case. The gentleman made his booking and then canceled it via our instant reservation module. We have proof of this. Obviously, as he didn't have a reservation, we didn't allocate the room towards his reservation. Despite the city being sold out due to a convention, our staff offered to accommodate...

We- My husband, and two other couples were booked on a round the world trip and Canada was our last stop. Being recommended by American Express our Toronto stop was Glen Grove midtown, because it is centrally located. As we wait to check in, we hesitated due hearing people ahead of us threatening to write on trip advisor if an... more

The manager responded to my complaints by telling me that I can leave whenever I would like, and turning off the heat. My company was paying for my relocation to toronto and wanted me to stay in a hotel/apartment. This structure was listed as one that had bid as a standing offer. The wallpaper was peeling in every room. Bathroom... more

This review is completely out of context and inaccurate. Allow us to present the truth... This gentleman has said "The manager responded to my complaints by telling me that I can leave whenever I would like, and turning off the heat." I am the manager and since he was on a monthly stay, I allowed him an early check-out without...

I travel quite extensively for business and this place was far and away the worst accomodation I've ever had. Due to my flight schedule, I arrived about an hour before check-in and was greeted by the snarliest front desk staff ever. She basically told me to leave and come back at the right time and wouldn't let me leave my... more

The girl could not have been more helpful with directions, information about Toronto etc, fortunately i found out she was the same person whom i corresponded with... more

I stayed with my family in a two bedroom suite for 7 days. I was on Business but thought i would give my family a Toronto experience while i work, and Glen Grove helped us to have a great trip. I was sceptical/scared after reading a few comments but come to find out that they were not justified. We rang... more

I have to disagree with the few last bad comments that i read about Glen Grove. As a frequent guest at Glen Grove, I find the location and facility very convenient. It is indeed a home away from home. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The building is very old "1920's" i think and could do well with... more
