We checked into this hotel in the middle of the night, because of a security issue at the hotel (Days Inn) we had originally checked into. We were 4 girls in our mid-twenties in Toronto for one night to see the Spice Girls. I phoned the Travelodge, and was greeted by a very kind man working the front desk at... more

A good place to stay, only a 15-20 minute walk from Yonge Street. The room itself was surprisingly large and very clean, though the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but the fridge was a definite plus. Having read earlier reviews complaining about the breakfasts, i thought it was actually pretty good - a basic though quite tasty selection. more

My partner and I stayed here when visiting Toronto for a weekend to enjoy the downtown area. The hotel is conveniently located as a base for downtown activities and has a number of convenient stores, small restaurents and such nearby. You will need a cab to get to dowtown areas like Yorkville, chinatown, Church street or Kensington market. The neighbourhood... more

This place was awful. First off, there were mice in the hotel room. When I told the manager he couldn't care less. The blanket had dozens and dozens of cigarette burns. The place was not cheap either. Pay the extra money and go to a real hotel. more

It's my understanding that the whole point of staying at a Travelodge is that it's generally cheap...this hotel wasn't cheap by Travelodge standards but I guess for the area it was in, it was a pretty good deal nonetheless. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful AND knowledgeable about the area (unlike the Travelodge in Atlanta I recently... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night in September 2007. Pros: decent value, close proximity to downtown Toronto (15 minute walk to CN tower and Rogers Centre), front desk was fun and friendly. Cons: room decor was so outdated and ugly, which might not be a concern for some people, but for us we found it... more

I am a frequent traveller to Toronto on business and I always use the Travelodge on King West. It is well located in the downtown core of the city, the staff provide above average service and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They are also quite large, which is always a bonus. There is a free breakfast, but I am... more

This place was just fine. Toronto is a bit pricey but considering the value to cost ratio this place is allright. It is well located also, 5 minutes to downtown. more

We stayed here for 2 nights over the September long weekend. Flew in on a night flight and the staff was very accomodating on getting us into our hotel earlier than 1pm. Free breakfast had coffee/juice/tea, muffins/cereal/toast. Would've been nice to have some fruit but whatever, it was free! Close walking distance(15-25min) to everything, Hockey HOF, Skydome, the harbour, Eaton... more

The price was okay but, we can hear the other room, we can hear the other person taking his shower at the morning. The room was not so clean but at less we have a small refrigerator in the room. The terrible thing is the shower, at 9h AM there was no hot water for the shower and after some... more
