Honestly, I am not sure if some of the gripes I've read on TripAdvisor are still deserved. From check-in to questions while staying to check-out, the reception staffs have been friendly and helpful. We even asked for late check-out & was granted an extra hour. The rooms are "dated" but they're clean & spacious. We booked a room with 2... More

Hi, As I checked in, fornt desk managers would help to store your luggage if there is time to check in as per the hotel check-in times. It is an absolutely clean, and comfortable place. The room will be cleaned everyday and you feel safe in the hotel. Breakfast was average..not great at all... Staff isnt very friendly as such... More

I have stayed here twice and have reservations for upcoming trips. The rate is excellent (especially through CAA) and the location is ideal. It is right off bustling Yonge Street but you would never know it. The subway is a less than five minute walk from the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was a good size... More

Book this hotel if you're in the area for a conference, like I was. Comfortable room for 1 night for business travelling. Don't stay here, if you're looking for a romantic getaway or you have high standards. The area is fantastic because you're right near Yorkville, and the shopping is fantastic. I paid under $100 for the night so I... More

This hotel was definitely a find ! It is located at Yonge and Bloor, so is pretty much in the heart of downtown Toronto, walking distance to Eaton Centre, Yorkville etc... I have stayed at this location a couple of times and continue to do so. The rooms were cleaned well, the staff was courteous and there are a lot... More

My sisters and I (5 of us) stayed for the weekend and found the staff all very friendly and helpful. A damaged shower head was repaired right away - on a Saturday night. We were impressed with that service. Although the bathroom was really small, the room was spacious and clean. The price was right. And the restaurant "Wish" next... More

We had a very comfortable room and stay here recently but were not comfortable about the neighbourhood. We woke on our first morning to find druggies on the spare ground below our window and people sleeping rough. The second night there was terrible arguing and fighting going on outside which disturbed our sleep. More

This is a fine choice for people on a budget. The lobby and elevators have recently been re-done and are quite nice. The hotel is sort of run-down and shabby with dingy hallways and stained carpets. The rooms are surprisingly spacious but don't expect the amenities you might find in one of the more upscale locations. There are some drawbacks... More

Hotel was conveniently located near bus and train lines, rooms appeared clean and were larger than expected although bathrooms were MUCH smaller than expected. Room wall paint and trim were in definite need of refurbishing. Air conditioner was a wall unit which was on all the time, but was loud and barely cooled the room, even at full throttle. Hallways...
