Location is top notch, just behind Dundas Square. The room was big enough for us, the bathroom was above average for "our kind of hotel". Staff are friendly, cleaning is good. There are a couple of minuses though: - $10 per day for internet is ridiculous. WiFi in rooms should be a free service, as indeed it is in most... More

I booked the hotel but my partner and I arrived separate, I had asked for them to be placed in room if I don't arrive first but this was not done. Was also not given wifi so we could communicate which came free with the room we had. The room itself wasn't big but was nice & clean. The only... More

Located near most attractions, this hotel is very clean with friendly staff. A small restaurant with great breakfast was a plus. Hotel is within a block of bus line, sightseeing open bus stop and the largest mall in Toronto.

Good rooms, very clean. During our stay the Elevators did not work and the stairs are a disaster. Also, oddly enough the parking structure was across the street and was not ideal to transporting luggage.

We stayed here for a few days and weren't impressed by the room. We were first given twin single beds despite booking a double which we had to speak to the reception about to be changed. Upon walking into the hotel room I was disappointed. While it was clean and to some extent comfy (the pillows were hard) it left... More

Through a series of booking misadventures and continuing credit balance, I stayed at the Bond Place Hotel three times from May to July 2015. While the hotel itself is barely adequate overall (in many ways it has the vibe of a boutique hostel), my partner and I experienced a unique set of problems when she accompanied me on my second... The Bond Place Hotel is in downtown Toronto. Walking distance to Rogers Centre (Toronto Blue Jay) and the many events and festivals that take place in downtown Toronto. The staff are very kind and helpful and the little restaurant next door is perfect for a quick breakfast before starting your day. The rooms are spanking clean but quite small with... More

I have been going to the Bond Place Hotel for almost 4 years. I simply love it. The rooms are wonderful, very boutique like and I love the simple layout and the lighting is spectacular. The bed? So comfortable I never want to leave it. Now to the staff: I have never met a more accommodating group of employees in... More

We have stayed here several times as a family, and this hotel is ideally situated for shopping and sightseeing. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The lack f Wi-Fi is a pain in the modern age, but it is freely available every else you go so not too much of an issue. Breakfast is not included, but there are lots... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
