My husband and I spent 5 nights at Cabbageville in April 2015 whilst on a business/leisure trip to Toronto. The welcome which we received from James and Gailo was fantastic (we are South African) and we were immediately made to feel at home. In fact, throughout the visit our hosts went out of their way to ensure that our every... More

I stayed here with my husband while in Toronto on business in the middle of a very cold winter and this was a cozy and quaint place to return to after very long days. Clean and well kept with very kind owners.

I spent 5 days in this lovely B&B whilst visiting my daughter at Toronto University. It's a beautiful Victorian house in a really interesting Victorian neighbourhood of Toronto. It's a quiet location, friendly neighbourhood with easy access to downtown and the University either by walking (around 35 mins) or bus or tram (around 10 mins). This B&B has a lovely... More

We went to Toronto for two weeks and stayed for one week in the Cabbageville B&B! It was a great experience. Clean bedroom and bathroom, free wifi and the owners were also very friendly! It takes about 20 minutes to get to downtown as you need to walk 10 minutes to the closest subway station or you can simply walk... More

We stayed in the large spacious front room with en suite. Lovely decor, comfy bed and nice and warm. We had everything we needed, hairdryer, fridge, tea-making facilities, toiletries, TV, wifi etc. Cabbage Town is very quaint, quiet but very close to all amenities and Gailo's and James are delightful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. All in all, a... More

This hotel is delightful, located in funny, spooky Cabbagetown and is quiet, atmospheric, clean and altogether delightful. The owner was helpful and very kind. Can't recommend it enough. Restaurants are close by.

I have stayed in B&B's, hostels, auberges, shot gun shacks (Mississippi) and 5 star hotels (Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton) for over 20+ years and enjoy trying new accommodations each time I travel. I especially love visiting Toronto as I lived in the city for 9 years and it is fun to return to visit friends and family. I discovered... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful time during our stay in the charming Cabbageville B&B. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and settled us in as soon as we got there. We stayed in the Normandy room which was the perfect size with an en suite bathroom. The electric fireplace in the room created a nice cozy place... More

Our stay at the Cabbageville B&B in the beautiful, quaint neighbourhood of Cabbagetown was splendid! The house is charming, the room is great value, and the location is fantastic (very close to downtown). The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the lovely Normandy Room, which is a nice size and includes an ensuite bathroom and... More

The good things about this B&B are the comfortable bed, and the fact that it is clean. The location is so-so: a pleasant district, but not within walking distance of a subway or train station, or any of the city’s attractions. The room was small, plain and not particularly well-appointed: no coffee/tea-making facilities in the room, not even a glass... More

Yes - this was an instance where nothing I did could satisfy this gentleman. Apparently he was detained by customs at the airport for 2 hrs before arriving at our house, and thus arrived later than expected......about 10pm Usually after a long international flight, guests are only too happy to let themselves in with the front door code and dispense...
