We found this B&B on airbnb and it was our first time booking through that site, so we were a bit anxious. However, the minute we saw the house and the second we met Gailo, all our fears were put to rest. We had a beautiful room and we shared a bathroom, which wasn't a big inconvenience or anything. A very warm and slightly furry welcome, a great bed and sound sleep, a hot shower... everything as it should be. I also enjoyed the beauty of the house and all the little details in the decor, some of which I may use in my own home! The use of the phone was an enormous help and much appreciated. Travelling... We stayed at this lovely B&B for three nights during our recent trip to Canada and couldn't have asked for a better place. The location is excellent, in an attractive area that is well worth a walk around itself, and the B&B is also only a few minutes walk from a variety of restaurants. The owner, Gailo, was very friendly... More

On arrival we were greeted warmly by Gailo and her lovely cat, Charlotte. After parking up and getting our bags in, Gailo gave us some useful information about the local area and restaurants. Our room was clean, light and airy, with nice furnishings and felt really homely. We chose the room with a shared bathroom on the landing, which was... More

That is how Gallo made us feel at their B & B. I think the best part about a B & B experience is the mix of people you meet at breakfast and this place did not disappoint me in that regard. There is a rumor that the Dalai Lama stayed here also.

We enjoyed our visit here very much. Gailo, our hostess was very kind and hospitable. Our room was beautiful and appointed with every amenity that we needed. The bathroom was spacious, modern and clean. the bed was very comfortable, firm and big. There were dressers and lamps for both of us. Everything, including fan, tv, wifi, and windows, operated well. What a lovely place! We couldn't have asked for any more. The actual B&B is very pretty, Gailo is the most welcoming host and the area is just beautiful. We know where to stay next time we are in Toronto and will happily recommend this place. The cuddily cats are a bonus on top of an already lovely stay! Little... More

We stayed in the Cabbageville B&B in July for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it really much. Cabbagetown is a very nice and quiet neighborhood and the B&B is charming and thoughtfully decorated. The room we stayed in was clean, with a small fridge and a very comfortable bed. But the best thing about the B&B was the owner:... More

Cabbageville B&B was a wonderful place to spend some time discovering Toronto. Upon entering the front garden, we were greeted outside by Gailo with a warm welcome in her South African accent. Our room upstairs for two was exceptionally quaint, clean, and comfortable, and our private bath was immaculate and roomy. Gailo was a gracious and friendly host with a... More

Recently spent a night at the Cabbageville B&B and we were more than satisfied! We received a kind welcome and lots of info from the very personable owner. Our room was clean, cozy and inviting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was just right - an ample buffet with fresh breads, cheese, fruit, yogurt etc. Neighbourhood was quaint and...
