#1) Business Centre: no paper in printer, no pens, no envelopes, wi-fi slow and potentially virused #2) Several of the desk staff were cold and flat in their behaviour. One front desk was outright rude and unhelpful for several requests which had to be handled by a morning person who was confused why the evening staff wouldn't help me until... More

Went to Toronto to celebrate the big 3-0 with some friends and found a room online at the Primrose Hotel. This was my first trip to Toronto so didn’t know what to expect or where anything was. The lady at the front desk was amazing and not only gave me free maps, but also spent a lot of time giving... More

Had a stop over for the night in Toronto and instead of staying at the airport where there is nothing to do, decided to go downtown and look around. Got a room without a reservation at the Primrose Hotel which was right beside an underground train stop. The price was good and they had a room with a king bed... More

I needed somewhere to stay downtown for a week and didn't want to pay a fortune. This hotel was a nice surprise for the price. Big comfortable rooms, very clean although a little bit tired but no complaints given the price. Service was good from the staff and there were some very good local options for breakfast or a drink... More

Great budget choice downtown in a very pricey city. Accomodations basic. Rooms ok. Near the new Loblaws grocery superstore-great retail entertainment. Also near subway. Get a room facing away from Carlton to avoid the street noise. Room needed vacuming-which was taken care of immediately. AAA rate a steal. Not the Ritz but save your money for the salmon at the... Recently went to Toronto to meet up with some friends and got a room for cheap at the Primrose hotel. The location was good, right where I needed to be, and the price was great for downtown and I only paid $89 with a corporate discount. The staff were great, and let me check in early (and I mean early... More

I have stayed at the Primrose hotel a few times. I continue to go back because the room is clean, beds are comfortable, location and the rooms are sufficient size. It is also good bang for your buck. The location is not too bad, walking distance to downtown and very close to Maple Leaf Gardens, which recently opened as a... More

Went to Toronto for a weekend spa getaway with the girls. We had a spa day arranged at Elmwood Spa, and decided to save some money and stay at the Primrose Hotel. Was happy with the hotel overall. The location was good and since it was still fairly warm outside, we were able to walk to the spa. There are... More

If you want a hotel that has good service, clean rooms and cheap rates, stay here. We came in for a weekend and got an awesome deal online for 3 people in the room. Got a room with 2 queen beds on the 20th floor so had a good view. The room was big and had a lot of extra... More
