Before I begin this review I must say staff would apologize and correct issues but they continued to happen. We arrived and after settling in took showers. We left soiled towels on the floor not noticing the sign to put them in the bath tub. We returned to the room to see the bed had been made up. However, no... More

Really enjoyed this hotel. The location was perfect, we could see the CN tower, Toronto Island, Ripleys Aquarium. My grandchildren really enjoyed the pool and the room was very comfortable. We could walk everywhere and the only problem we had was that we couldn't use the cabs because we didn't have a car seats for the children.

A lovely stay, wonderful lobby bar., and attentive staff. Other reviews noted too much train noise but my room was overlooking the trains and there was only an occasional whistle. It is connected to the convention center, which is quite convenient if you are at a meeting.

Loved the room at hotel Germaine. It was well designed, well lit and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The complimentary morning paper of you choice was a nice perk. Only complaint would be the cold buffet breakfast -just so-so.

On arrival it looks like a bog standard Intercontinental, but the site is brilliant. This hotel as previous reviewers have stated is within walking distance of many of Toronto's popular sites, John Street area is extremely lively, a five minute walk away. The PATH, the underground network is across the road, the St Lawrence market etc. are a few minutes... More

This hotel is great for conferences, especially since connects to Metro Toronto Convention Center. I prefer this property to the more expensive intercontinental yorkville hotel location. I also think the pool is a bit better, just compare the pictures. I also prefer this location. I do think the price of this room could be a bit lower though.

Stayed here for 2 nights on April 29,30. Got an upgrade to the Executive Floor which offers breakfast, tea and coffee, snacks and hors-d'oeuvre. Also has an honor bar. Lounge and rooms have a nice view of the CN tower and Lake Ontario. Can easily walk to Ripley's Aquarium, Rogers Centre for baseball, Air Canada Centre for basketball and hockey,... More

My husband and I were staying here for a combined business / start to a vacation. We generally stay here when we are on business in Toronto as it is close to the Convention Centre. The rooms have been updated and are now very spacious and clean and comfortable. The views were wonderful (overlooking the island airport) and looking up... More

We stayed for the first time at the Intercontinental on Front street and we were very impressed. Great room (beds were plush but soft) and had a great bathroom with nice details and a good shower. The view is limited but we weren't in the room a lot to look. Great location for the Aquarium, CN Tower, Rogers centre and... More
