We stayed here because we were attending the Princess of Whales Theater and the location is perfect being no more that 2 minutes walk from the theater. Check-in was friendly and efficient and our room was ready even though we were early. The room was comfortable and clean with all of the usual attributes of similar quality hotels. We only... More

Incredibly modern and huge rooms, very comfortable and great part of town (if you like lively). Gym was superb with great views as was the pool, but it is small on the rooftop sun deck. All in all, a good stay.

I flew into the City Center Airport and walked to the Hyatt. Its about a 20 min walk. The location is excellent! We were in Toronto for a concert. With a liquor store on the street corner and the ACC a 10 min walk away we were all set. The lobby is impressive. The elevators are fast. The airconditioning was... More

If you like red and brown rooms then this is the place to stay. Overall very comfortable, perfect location to wine, dine, theatre go and club if you so desire. Breakfast room is very pleasant for a relaxing start to the day. Business centre is not worth the trouble as its by the minute. Front desk staff are extremely helpful... More

This is a very nice hotel with halpfull staff and newly renovated rooms. We stayed there for the weekend and had an amazing time. It is closed to all attractions, very rich night life close by. The only thing I would recommend is not to pay for parking with the hotel. Don't give them you licence plate as you can... More

Beautiful, smaller hotel in ideal location. We enjoyed a room with king bed and terrace (room #1804 or 1904?) Super clean, updated and stylish rooms. Walk to everything, nice, friendly staff. We arrived downstairs for breakfast a little too late, but the staff insisted we sit down and they served us anyway (and the brunch was great!). Will definitely stay... More

Having stayed at the Park Hyatt and many other Hyatts throughout Canada and the US, my initial reaction to this hotel was that it was subpar for the Hyatt brand - small rooms, few amenities, etc. However, the service made up for any other shortcomings - frinedly front desk staff, nice waiters in the breakfast reastaurant, and staff went out... The hotel does show some wear and tear. The wallpaper at the elevator was torn and patched. Never a good sign. The room was comfortable and clean. Had some problems with the shower... it ran HOT and COLD! Could never get a tolerable temperature. All of the staff were very nice. There did not appear to be a concierge desk,... More

My wife and I booked a one night stay at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. We were in town to see war horse the play. Over all the hotel was a very nice surprise. I believe it is the former Holiday Inn on King. They have done a nice job with the reno and the staff was excellent. Good job.

This property was previously a Holiday Inn. Not that's necessarily a bad thing, and the structure is very solid (I used to work in this building) but don't expect stellar accommodations. At almost $200/night, they're trying to tap into the business from the Bell Light Box next door, home to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). While I use this... More
