Recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in a double room booked off of Travel Zoo. ($99/night) Check-in/out was great....received an email the day of regarding 'express check in' - and upon showing up all that was required was to use the kiosk in the lobby, swipe the credit card used to book the room with and out came the keys.... more

The hotel design is very modern and clean. The staff is very helpful. The room is comfortable with a good bed quality; the bathroom works well and has all usual items. The room view is good to the Toronto skyline. I enjoy the roof top pool and view to CN Tower. The gym is well equipped and the bathroom has... more

This hotel is conveniently centred in downtown Toronto within walking distance of a number of different attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating. On check-in, a set of front doors were broken and inoperable and were not fixed on the fourth day that we were there. The foyer of the other set of front doors was still bare gyproc. The... more

I found a great rate for the new (old Holiday Inn on King) Hyatt Regency in Toronto, so decided to give it a try. Here is what I found: Location: Located on a great part of King St. close to all the clubs and bars. All services are within walking distance making it great to get around. If you need... more

The Hyatt is obviously a former Holiday Inn (from the sign at the front door) but its been nicely renovated and the rooms are quite nice. No, they're not huge, but they are nicely appointed and have nice big flat screen that you can plug your Ipod into. The bathroom is pretty cool with a nice shower. The closet is... more

Rooms were really good, they are different size as hotel has a strange formation but great/clean rooms. Staff and service is also great worldclass. But the amenities of the hotel is not a Hyatt 4-star. In Toronto a seasonal swimmingpool means like about 3-months of a year. In my view, thats like not having a swimming pool which is enough... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency over Memorial Day weekend. We both loved the hotel. The lobby is really nice and modern, with a cool waterfall and really furniture. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was also very modern and clean. The TV in the room was huge, the bed was really comfortable, and... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Hyatt Regency (many locals still refer to it as the Holiday Inn). The renos feature clean, straight edges and modern simplicity. The service was great, from the host and waiters at the restaurant, to the front desk and concierge. The room has comfy beds with soft pillows and the bathroom, by and large, rocked.... more

I stayed at the Hyatt because I got the opening special of $109 / night. I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price. This recently rennovated hotel, which has rooms that initially appear nice, quickly reveal that they were built poorly and cheaply. The rooms quickly become a distraction as you notice that the construction was rushed,... more
