We staid for a romantic weekend. Free WiFi, easy parking and great view over the city. Service was excellent and we had a pleasant wine and tasting platter at the bar and the room was well designed. The location was perfect for accessing downtown Toronto. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We stayed at the hotel just before Christmas. We found the staff very helpful and extremely friendly. The rooms were very clean. The bed was super comfortable. I like the location of the hotel as everything was a $10 or less cab ride for everything we were attending for the weekend. I would definetly go back.

The Hyatt on King in Toronto is very central to all of the entertainment and shopping options the city has to offer. The team working there were very efficient and friendly. It is very well priced and I would stay there again in the future.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite. The hotel has a lovely lobby and piano bar. The drinks are the average Toronto price but aren't great (hard to taste any alcohol) The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The washroom was an average size and was spotless. We ate brunch here and the food... More

The guest room are $180 per night, and they should only be charging $100 - $120 per night. The rooms look like the last time they were renovated was in the 1970s or 1980s. Not worth $180 per night at all!!! I will not stay here again until they renovate, and then I will gladly pay $180.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, but most of all excellent service from cleaning staff and front desk. Very polite and helpful. Excellent location as well, so close to everything, entertainment, restaurants, shows, train station, would definitely recommend to others.

Check in was very easy and the concierge friendly. The location is very good, walking distance to entertainment and lots of great restaurants. Parking is easy and underground, very convenient. The rooms are mediocre compared to other hotels in this star rating, however they are clean. The room is very dry so bring your humidifier. Request a room on a... More

This hotel is in a great location. It is an easy walk from the St. Andrew subway station and there are great venues in the vicinity. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are a good size. The check in staff are efficient and friendly.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
