We (4 adults) stayed here for a week over the Christmas Holiday. The apartment is one flight up from a flower shop, on The Danforth, 3 minutes from the Woodbine TTC subway station. The Value Mart grocery store, bakery, banks are all just across the street. Parking is behind the building. There is also a great deck which must be... More

We stayed in the condo in August. The owner was very very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. We locked ourselves out one day and she was there in 10 minutes to help us out! The apartment itself is immaculate and spacious. There was enough room for the 5 of us. Beds are comfortable.... More

Family of 6 (2 teenagers and 2 younger kids). Accomdations were excellent. Clean, spacious, cool (not an unimportant thing during one of the hottest August's ever). Very modern. Porch off back was great for breakfast. We stayed in the top appartment (2 floors up). Very roomy comfortable sleeping arrangements. We are from an urban community, noise at night was less... More

The photos posted of My Urban Oasis are exactly what you will get when you arrive - it's very clean, plenty of room, the towels and linens were of the highest quality and the price is very reasonable for the square footage. Unlike one of the other reviews, we found the apartment to be very quiet. We were a bit... More

When arriving to Urban Oasis, we were not sure about the neighbourhood. ValuMart, Canada Trust across the street, Sandy's Restaurant next door and bonus having the subway access across the street. Parking was just behind. Patio for outdoor enjoyment when the weather improves but inside, even better than the pictures. As for the windows onto the Danforth, these were being... More

Thank you for choosing My Urban Oasis. It was a pleasure having you. Our area is a great area for people travelling to Toronto as the subway is so close and very convenient to shopping etc.. It is also close to Kew Beach which is a walk or a short bus ride from the corner. More

I wish I knew about the fact that the windows do not close because of the AC unit not being properly sealed. All the noise from the Danforth is heard throughout the night. The bed mattress quality leaves a lot to be desired. It certainly seems like the owner of My Urban Oasis was focused on the esthetics of the... More

I am very grateful that Trip Advisor allows us to respond to reviews. Going into our 5th year in the vacation rental business we have treated our guests with the best possible service that we can. It is very important to us. Regarding the beds. I am always asking people about the mattresses. This was the first complaint regarding the... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
