4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed when attending a game at Rogers Centre. Spacious room with good room service. Quiet enough even though downtown. Well placed for other attractions and restaurants Great selection on TV allowed me to watch several premier league games! Valet parking worked well I had checked in early having arrived on a transatlantic flight that was great

During my stay here I got engaged. The staff were extremely helpful in setting up everything and accommodating to fit my requests. The service I received here was extraordinary and I would strongly recommend a stay here. A special thanks to Stephanie, Monika and Akram. It was truly a weekend I will never forget.

We (family of 4) stayed at this property this past weekend and the hotel is very convenient to aquarium and CN tower..as well as the home of the Blue Jays, but the property itself is very warn. The room we stayed in had two double beds and they were very uncomfortable and the slightest shuffle you made at night made... More

Very clean and spacious rooms; with very friendly and courteous staff. We stayed there because of the location (we were in town for Monster Jam) and being under the same roof as the show it was the perfect location! It is also a five minute walk to Air Canada Center! We stayed on the six floor which had the Club... More

I recently stayed at the Ren while attending a conference. I hadn't stayed there for several years, so I was happy to see that it had been renovated (still some work to be done in the lobby). Checkin was quite efficient and I was delighted to be offered an upgrade to a suite . . . sweet! The lady at... More

Had to stay here on business and it was a nice enough place! Room was spacious and the beds had nice soft pillows and mattresses. The restaurant had a sweeping view of the stadium and the food was good and fairly well priced. It is a winner, go for it!!!

From beginning to end, my stay was fantastic. I can't say enough about the great customer service. The employees at the Renaissance, must have some of the best customer service training that exists. That's why I keep coming back. It's amazing what a difference it can make to your stay, when you're greeted with a welcoming smile from the friendly... More

My husband, daughter (6) and I stayed at this hotel Jan 17th for the Monster Jam. We had never been to this hotel before and were very impressed. Although the lobby was under construction, we found our check-in to be very quick and pleasant. The front desk staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
