Good place to stay, central location so you can walk from various points of interest. The rooms are modern and comfortable and being attached to Rogers Centre is a plus too! It is a bit pricey to be honest but if you are going once a year, it is worth the extra based on service and convenience! And the restaurant... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times. We regularly stay there to attend baseball games and find it to be "easy" and convient. Highlights: 1) Valet Parking - quick and easy. The price is completely reasonable. Service is fast. 2) The restaurant overlooking the field. Prices for food and drinks are completely reasonable. They do NOT overcharge you for... More

Myself and my daughter recently stayed here for a concert .. The location was perfect and the staff were very helpful! I would highly recommend staying here for any events in the area! Restaurant staff were very accommodating with food allergies! Our room was facing the train tracks but no noise could be heard from the outside! Very comfortable beds... More

We had a great room on the club floor, it was very large, huge bathroom, just everything was wonderful. We came to Toronto to visit Niagara Falls and see the city at the same time. The staff are pleasant, the hotel is friendly, people were arriving with coolers, quite amazing. The only complaint was that the hot tub in the... More

I have only stayed in one Marriott hotel previously, and that was in Washington, DC. I appreciated my room assignment being away from the elevator, but I was right beside the vending machine/ice room and stairwell and a party room around the corner. It didn't matter much though, I was so tired from Blue Rodeo and the CNE, I crashed... More

Fantastic job with the re modernizing of the entire facility!!! Very modern look with all the required necessities. Location can't be beat. Staff remain the best, very accommodating, relaxed and pay close attention to detail. Pillows, beds and comforters are super comfortable!! Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. I will be back!!

Once in a while you get lucky. My wife and I have been on a quest to visit all 30 MLB baseball parks. Toronto was #28 for us and with the help of the wonderful staff at this expertly run hotel, will be the once we remember most. I wanted to do something special for my wife so booked a... More

This hotel is the perfect location for attending concerts at the Rogers Centre. After a long evening I had a two minute walk back to my hotel room which was perfect. Also close to tourist places such as the CN tower. From the time I arrived to leaving the service was top notch. With taking a early flight to Toronto... More

we had a stadium view room to watch Blue Jays VS Yankees, this was our second time in this room and is easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The Team at the hotel really look after you and nothing is too much trouble.

We spent the weekend watching the Blue Jays at this hotel. It was fabulous. We had a two level room. It is a great view of the ballpark. The hotel room is nice and comfortable. Housekeeping gets big kudos as it is very clean. The room is spacious. We were only 3 of us but it could comfortably hold many... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
