I stayed at Hotel Victoria well I was in Toronto for 2 nights. It was clean and quiet. The rooms are a little small but for one person it was great. The location was great for my needs and the staff was friendly. Plus it was attached to a great breakfast spot which just made it that much sweeter. The... More

We stayed only one night. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and located in a central location: walking distance to the Union station, restaurants and coffee shops. The price is very affordable. Great experience overall.

We only stayed for one night, but the location was fantastic (5 minute walk to the ACC and numerous great pubs within a couple of blocks), room was clean and everything worked! Highly recommended for the price!

Just checked out of the Hotel Victoria and I must say the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great so many places to eat or have a drink. Room was clean and tidy but the flooring was noise especially at night, when someone went to the bathroom. Also the bathroom door was a glass frosted pane which I... More

We stayed at Victoria Hotel for 3 nights back in July. Perfect location- on Yonge St, within walking distance of all hotspots in downtown Toronto. I loved our room, though not spacious, it was perfect. Very clean, incredibly comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom, modem, good shower head. The dining room - where we had our breakfasts had an excellent variety... More

I have stayed here a number of times never been disappointed. Great staff, great location. This is a reasonably priced gem in the heart of DT Toronto, I don't think I have ever paid more than $160... In downtown Toronto that is a bargain. Beds, comfy linens crisp and clean Bathroom well appointed Flat screen tv, good selection of Chanel's... More

Well situated, nice room. Really comfortable bed Large bathroom, modern decor. I had a room near the elevator and was surprized on how quiet it was. I will be back to this hotel, it is well situated and priced right.

The hotel itself was clean and fine. I stayed in the Business room, which is exceptionally small. There is no parking in the hotel, so you have to find your own parking. The front desk will recommend the cheapest parking in the city, which is about a 4 block walk. In the cold with my bags, that wasn't my favourite.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Victoria as part of an event getaway to see the stage musical Kinky Boots. We stayed at the Hotel Victoria on a Friday night. The room was nice and rather large, although the windows allow cold air in, but in turn are covered by blinds and the floors creak a lot. The elevator was slow. Front desk staff was friendly. The restaurant in the Hotel was excellent for breakfast. All things considered, we could... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
