We recently stayed at this particular hotel and cannot say enough good things about it. It was located a very short distance from many attractions and being situated in the middle of Yorkville there were lots of interesting shops and resturants as well as many local characters. The service was excellent and the view from the top floor resturant was... More

First, let me start by saying that I have had wonderful experiences at Four Seasons hotels around the world (Paris, London, Istanbul, Maui, etc.). However, the Four Seasons hotel in Toronto is a sad, pitiful joke. The restaurant (Avenue) has the rudest seating staff you could ever imagine. The restaurant manager is completely unconcerned about how badly customers are treated... More

I understand the hotel is soon to close, and to be converted into residence apartments. Rooms are large but old, and not to FS perfect standards. And no door stoppers in rooms, so one keeps hearing doors slamming every now and then. Service on the other hand was almost perfect. I had room service once and late dinner at the... More

Your stay at the Four Seasons will be excellent. You are near great restaurants and high end shops. The Royal Ontario Museum is just a few steps away. More

I had a one night stay for a business meeting. The quality of the furnishings and linens was excellent. L'Occitane toiletries were lovely. My only small quibbles were the lack of a coffee maker and also the bath was smaller than I would have liked. I put my salt/slush stained boots out for cleaning and this hotel beat all others... I just stayed at the Four Seasons in Toronto and was left underwhelmed. First, let me say that the service was excellent -- every bit as good as any other Four Seasons or similar property I've visited. However, on most other levels, the hotel is dated and/or underappointed, in my view. The rooms are not normal Four Seasons quality, if... More

Although a new Four Seasons is opening up nearby, and this lovely hotel is showing her age, I had a wonderful experience in the hotel. When I checked in, I was coming down with strep throat and had a speaking engagement the next day. The hotel arranged for a doctor's visit, sent someone out to buy antibiotics and then made... More

For more than 30 years, the Four seasons Yorkville was one of Toronto's prime hotels. Movie stars and the rich and famous flocked to it's rooms. Toronto is in the middle of a condo boom and now the Four Season's 4 stars need to be upgraded to five stars to complete with the plethora of 5 star hotels now open... More

Recently stayed one night for a business event. Was very impressed with the professional service at the front door and the front counter (they welcomed me back even though 5 years had passed!) . The room was immaculately clean and well appointed. Bed was a bit soft for my taste, but pillows were amazing! Highly recommend. Smack dab in the... More

It's a little unfair to post a review of this hotel so close to it closing down, as it is very tired (although very clean).
