Super room with excellent bed. Great soft sheets and comforter. Heated floor in bathroom a plus. The Japanese restaurant was excellent for dinner. Had breakfast in the Counter restaurant. Excellent coffee and and omelet. I am a picky traveler, but no complaints on this place. Found Thomson via a name your price site, and got a good deal on a... More

The new Thompson Hotel in Toronto is really quite a beautiful place. The outside of the building is very unique in the way it uses reflective glass to cover a good portion of the structure...it definitely catches your attention. The lobby has a neat vibe to it and although it is dark, it feels warm and inviting. The guest rooms... More

I find that most people here only feel moved to offer reviews in response to extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad experiences, and so I decided to offer one in response to a stay that was neither, hoping it might offer a little more balanced objectivity to those who are considering this hotel... The good- Location. Walking distance to many restaurants,... More

Went to Toronto with a couple of family members to visit a friend. Stayed at this hotel and got a good price with priceline.com. Upon arrival was greeted by polite and VERY good-looking staff (both male and female staff they hired looked like they all came from some model agency). However as soon as we got settled down we realized... More

Stayed at hotel for one week in December. Woudl definitely recommend this hotel - lots of things to do - Roof Top bar, Scareptta, The Counter, lobby bar and club downstairs. I stayed on the 4th floor and did not encounter any noise at all. My room had a balcony which was nice and the room was immaculately cleaned everyday.... More

Cool hotel and nice staff. Realized the place gets hopping at night which would be fine if the walls and doors were thicker. We heard everything and when we finally fell asleep we were awakened at 4:30 am to the shrill of the fire alarm coming from a speaker in the ceiling. We had to call the front desk to... More

I stayed at the Thompson from Saturday, December 4 to Thursday, December 9. I generally prefer boutique hotels to the large chains, and I’ve enjoyed other Thompson hotels. While I really wanted to like this hotel, there are a lot of flaws. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be staying elsewhere. Likes: • Cool up-and-coming location with lots of character.... More

I stayed at the Thompson for one night and as I had booked it through priceline wasnt sure what to expect. However, I have to say that I was particularly impressed. The room was massively spacious and presented in a modern contemporary manner. I was lucky enough also to have a view of the CN Tower from my room. If... More

I am honestly shocked by the other poor ratings of this hotel. The reviews had me second guessing our decision to spend our wedding night here but luckily, I had nothing to worry about. This was easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. To start off, we were given a free upgrade to a King Suite with... More

Stayed for three nights on business and had a really enjoyable stay! The room was comfortable and clean and stylish. The purpose of my stay was for business so it was a little disappointing when I found that the WIFI was not free and a little slow. However everything else was great, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food... More
