My mom and I stayed here the other night after going to a concert at the air canada centre. I booked this hotel over hotwire and was quite nervous about our upcoming stay after reading all of the reviews here on tripadvisor. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Although it is still quite a distance from the ACC, the... More

A belligerent manager, who was bent on being accusative and antagonistic when a guest needed help with a faulty entrance door (accusing the guest of breaking the door, when on check in the guest observed the manager already having trouble with it), took away any charm the small house converted into a hotel would have provided. The warren of rooms... More

I stayed here two nights as my wife underwent major surgery at the orthopaedic hospital virtually next door. Overall, I was very comfortable, got attentive service, and found the location excellent. However, all was not positive. My first night was in the dreaded basement room. The width was only twice that of the single bed; not a major deal since... More

For personal circumstances I have been doing hotels all over the city for weekends during June. Through a third party website, I got this one at the unpublished section for one night. I called late morning to ask if there was storage for the one small bag that I was bringing and the person was nice enough to tell me... More

We were in the front room and there was roar of conversation and noise from the patio of the bar next door until 3 am on weekends and 1 or 2 am on weeknights. Sleep was out of the question. We asked to move but the manager on the phone just kept angrily insisting we sign the registration and credit... More

Please check before you book and ensure that you do not get a basement room. It was like being in a prison cell with bars across the windows. And to compound matters further, the room was tiny, so small we had nowhere to put our open suitcases. And as for delux? Bit of an overstatement I'm afraid! I can't comment... More

I stumbled across this place on tripadvisor & thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. Wow, what a gem.I've paid twice as much in Toronto and gotten far less. This place is an amazing deal. Friendly helpful staff. Clean, modern and well equiped room. The bed was very comfortable. It is close the subway and public parking, so... More

This was for us our second visit to this "Boutique" hotel. It runs as a manor house - in other words more B&B/Inn without the breakfast part and there is no owner/front desk on site. There is good parking that is reasonably priced just around the corner under Wellesley Street. One enters just mid block on the East south of... More

The best thing to be said about the Wellseley Manor is its location. Other than that, the room was tiny, only wall hooks to hang anything up, no bathtub and you must park in the city lot a few doors away. The room was so small, there wasn't a bathroom door, just a slider. And we had the "queen deluxe"... More

Nice hotel with nice staff, but my room was in the cellar without a large enough window to escape if something should happen, so you might feel a bit trapped. You can even hear the subway pass now and then. I shared the room with a little millipede, so the cleaning could be better. Nice bar next door.
