Hotel is located in the heart of the financial area of the downtown and includes access to the PATH and is in walking distance to the Eaton Centre. In room kitchenettes, gym, and hot tub were the amenities that I took advantage of. The service was great! I will stay again when traveling to the area.

We stayed here while visiting Toronto for a stage show. Our first stay here convinced us to return. It is absolutely perfect for us with theaters nearby and lots to do. The suite was on the 6th floor and has a small but complete kitchen area with a 2 burner electric stop, refrigerator, dished & cutlery and lots of cabinet... More

This is a very convenient hotel in the middle of Toronto financial district, just blocks away from the entertainment district, so close to many Toronto landmarks that you can avoid getting into a cab for a whole week. After multiple visits here, my advice is to use all your senses while packing for your return. Nothing I have ever forgotten... More

I had a room on the 46th floor of the hotel with beautiful views of Toronto's skyline. The hotel has some repairs going on but they didn't seem to interfere with my stay. The staff was friendly and ensured they helped as much as they could for this surprise proposal. Beautiful rooms and great location.

Stayed in the Tower Deluxe Suite for New Year's Eve. We were on the 35th floor, which had a nice view of the city. The room looked modern, newly renovated and had all the necessities. The room was a bit cozier than expected, but this IS downtown Toronto. Side note - self-parking was a little bit difficult to find. As... More

I really liked this place. Close to everything. The customer service has been referred to as "terrible" but we didn't find that. Mind you, we only rang into them for checking in. Our suite seemed quite newly decorated and clean. We also had pretty much a full kitchen but didn't know that before our stay!

Amazing View - comfy bed - great pillows - and great amenities - couldn't ask for much more - made a hectic business trip as easy as possible. Hot tub and gym were awesome after a long day. Only complaint was the kitchen area and washroom weren't as clean as I expected of a hotel of this caliber - more... More

Gorgeous Lobby! Perfect Yonge Street location at Wellington. An historic building, an old bank renovated into a hotel but keeping all of the gorgeous marble and brass decor (the upper level condo building a modern addition). If possible, upgrade to a two room suite, and request a corner room for more light and better city views. High ceilings, comfy linens,... More

The location of the Hotel is wonderful. The fact that the rooms are newly renovated and the cost being reasonable is a great value. Unfortunately that value comes at the expense of less than personable staff. I spent 1-hr going back and fourth with front desk and Manger over an $85.00 charge from the bar to my room that occurred... More

First I will give you the positives; staff were generally friendly (although they didn't bother to ask us how our stay was when we checked out), the location is great and the building itself has retained a lot of it's historical charm. While we were initially disappointed that the valet was full, the discounted self parking is close and cheap.... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
