My husband and I just spent two nights at Cottage in the City. Mardy and Ron were very gracious warm hosts with a great deal of information to share about their city. Our room was beautifully appointed (as was the entire house), the bed very comfortable and the breakfasts were exquisite!! Mardy's blueberry pancakes were some of the best we... More

I stayed at Cottage in the City for almost one week in May 2011. My plan was to visit friends in Toronto and have the B&B as a place to sleep. But my friends moved to another city on short notice so I was on my own and the B&B turned out to be much more than just a place... More

From the minute we walked in the door Mardy and Ron made us feel at home. The room is nice and filled with antiques. The breakfast was super. The location is very convenient to the subway and buses. Best of all they gave us all the time we needed with sightseeing suggestions, restaurant recommendations, travel tips and help. David

The room (the cheaper fo the two) was small, but perfectly formed, and the breakfasts were delicious and home cooked - there was no choice, but they served something different on the two mornings we were there. The area is good, with lots of restaurants near by and... More

With our daughter, taking the two+ rooms suited as just fine. One of the hosts said that some people were surprised to find the place is as pretty as its pictures. It's an intimate B&B - you are very much in Ron and Mardelle's home - they're living above and below you. That meant we had ready call on local... More
