The Downtown garden Inn appears somewhat rundown and is in a transitional neighborhood. For the same rate, the Grand Hotel across the street provides a much better ambience. The staff at the Garden Inn , however, are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is also overpriced.

Stayed here while attending a conference at the Toronto Convention Centre. It was an easy walk to attend the conference and lots of good restaurants nearby. Also it was very convenient to be just a couple of blocks away from the state run liquor/wine/beer store; where I enjoyed buying beer and stashing it in my hotel room fridge. Shower was... More

The hotel is nice and is in a great location, but if you're looking for a hospitable hotel who values their guests I would look elsewhere. If you book here be prepared to be greeted by a less than enthusiastic front desk personal. I've never visited a hotel where the front desk personal is quite rude and pretty put out... More

We enjoyed our stay at this property as the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located well within walking distance of the CN Tour, the Rogers Centre & the Ripleys Aquarium. The rooms look like they were recently refinished and the amenities like the desk and the chair was extremely comfortable.

It feels more like a factory than a hotel. Cold lobby, smelly floor, boring hotel. The people at the lobby are friendly and the location is not bad. Close to queens street where all the stores and bars are. Take my advice and stay at the doubletree downtown. So much better!!

My husband and I took my parents to Toronto to see two Blue Jays games on May 9 and 10. We had two rooms on the same floor of the Hilton Garden Inn, downtown Toronto. The hotel staff is superb, the location is exceptional (only a short walk to the ballpark), and the rooms are spacious and clean. I love... More

Right off the bat I need to tell you that I am a Hilton Diamond member, I am typically pretty pampered by them and have access to the best they have to offer, not this time... Hotel lobby is nice, but that is where it ended for me, I was given a room on lower floor with no view at... More

Though the location in downtown is attractive, the infrastructure and the room interior is fully outdated. Hilton can impress with big screen TVs which are just hiding ugly walls. No shoe cleaning available and plugs which are not fixed to the wall. Carpet and bed covers with several stains.... should certainly not be! Value for money: this hotel is totally... More

The hotel is in the entertainment district, so we were able to walk to the theaters, the CN tower, and numerous other spots. The room was clean, and big enough to stretch our legs. We were on the sixth floor, so noise did not filter up from the busy streets. The wifi was free. They also had a fridge, coffeemaker,... More

Me and the people I was with at the time were told right to our face that we were not good for the Hilton Image. How rude so you have to be to your paying guests. Wouldn't recommend this hotel if someone paid me! Your customer service and security personnel think they can look down on the customers paying their... More
