Sam&Miko are creating a wonderful atmosphere in their B&B and spoiling their visitors with a wonderful breakfast. Rooms are quiet and spatious. Location close to the center with green area around. And they seem to constantly improve the facilities in the house - so it should be pretty perfect place to stay soon.

I loved my stay at the Toronto Garden Inn, good place to explore the City. The place was clean and comfortable. Great hosts Miko and Sam- enjoyed Miko's pancakes! Great self catering breakfast spread- cereals, cold meats, cheeses etc. Stayed twice- upstairs and downstairs room- both great, downstairs bigger. Great service and information on cabs to airport. Walking distance to the... More

I absolutely loved my stay at Toronto Garden Inn. Sam and Miko were wonderful and made my stay great. As owners, they go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. I had to stay a couple of days longer than my initial reservation and they were really nice in working with me. They were also helpful in telling me... More

My boyfriend and did a road trip through American and Canada over Christmas and New Year and as most of the trip was spent driving, we did not book hotels in advance as most of the time we did not know which city we would be spending the night until on the day. We spent al of Christmas day driving... More

We rented three rooms for the weekend here and were very pleasantly surprised! Not only was the place spotless clean, comfortable and cozy, but the owners made us feel like it was our home. It was also very conveniently located, we were able to walk everywhere. Whether you are there alone, as a couple, or with a group you will... More

I stayed here for a week 14/4/2015-18/4/2015 and would gladly come again when traveling for work. Comfortable, cozy and clean bedroom with all the basic requirements fulfilled. The shared bathrooms were very well maintained and clean. Fully stocked kitchen(with breakfast items) with snacks/fruits and coffee available throughout the day. Miko was a delightful host and even made pancakes for me... More

I attended a conference in Toronto and stayed one week at Toronto Garden Inn. It was perfect: cosy, quiet, neat, very good bed, very nice owners, met nice people during breakfast, close to the city business center (15 min walk)...feeling like home ! I warmly recommend this place.

My partner and I just spent 5 wonderful days at this inn. Miko and Sami are the new owners and they made us feel like the house was our home during our stay. Furthermore, it was wonderful to see our neighbor friends again! I would not consider staying anywhere else in Toronto. Warm, cozy, and close to center city. A... More

Stayed 3 nights in November. Room on top floor. Beds were great. Breakfast great (you make your own). The owner went out of his way to get plain oatmeal for husband (wheat intolerant). Clean. Area is in transition so if you are a woman and going out at night Just take a taxi. The place is close to everything so... More

We stayed for 3 nights there. The staff was very friendly and we felt welcomend and cosy. The bed and breakfast was clean and the breakfast was good. The place is close to the center of the city, just a short walk. The neighborhood also felt save.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
