Charming house - clean, well-decorated rooms - warm, comfortable and relaxed vibe - many choices in a self-serve breakfast - very reasonable price Its everything I would want to find in a bed and breakfast. On top of that Miko, was extremely pleasant when booking and very accomodating for booking changes. I would recommend this place to anyone going to... More

Stayed here for one night during our Toronto trip and couldn't have been happier. Brian went out of his way to be hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and we loved the set out at the breakfast table couldn't help but chat to others and hear the stories of their travels! Lovely snacks too and not far... More

The owners do everything to make you feel at home. Very nice rooms, good beds, clean, breakfast is more than oke. You can make your own breakfast in the cosy kitchen. You can even have your breakfast in the garden. Near the centre of town but you don't have the noise. Very quit rooms.

I chose this hotel B and B because it looked like a quaint Victorian house. Upon arrival , I was quite shocked at the appearance of this place. It looked abit dilapidated from the front view. We were given the Begonia room at the back, which was small and pokey. ..hardly any room to put our luggage. We had to... More

We stayed here just for one night in the newly refurbished apartment in the basement, apart from it being a little cold, it was a great room you have your own fridge/cooker/bathroom. Very comfy bed. Self service breakfast in the morning. Miko couldn't be more helpful. We were able to leave our luggage and even have a shower before we... More

The Garden Inn is a wonderful place located in downtown Toronto. It is by far one of the best B&B I have been. How to get there? The B&B is easy to find. The best way to get from Toronto Airport is to take the special shuttle train to Union station (around 20 Canadian dollar one way) from there take... More

Really loved staying at the Garden Inn on my first visit to Canada. Miko and Sam couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. It's an adorable house, just off the main road. It has a very old fashioned vibe but has obviously been recently redone with new bathrooms and kitchen. It feels just like stepping into someone's home. Breakfast was... More

I was really enchanted with this hostel. The staff was very sweet and accomodating. I stayed here one night with my boyfriend, we were in Toronto for a Raptors' game. The room was very cute and cozy, and the bathroom was fully renovated and very clean, I didn't mind walking around barefoot! There was a wide variety of cereal, toasts,... More

Sam&Miko are creating a wonderful atmosphere in their B&B and spoiling their visitors with a wonderful breakfast. Rooms are quiet and spatious. Location close to the center with green area around. And they seem to constantly improve the facilities in the house - so it should be pretty perfect place to stay soon.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
