Our room was clean, quiet, and we felt safe. For the price paid, I'm satisfied. The location is strategically well-placed, the staff was friendly enough. The neighborhood was not glitzy at all, but neither is most of Thunder Bay :). The room was a bit smaller than typical would be for the U.S., but it did fit a king size... More

Very clean and friendly staff.....Night clerk was VERY good. He was very accommodating and so nice. Great value for the money. Free breakfast makes this deal even sweeter. We're travelling across Canada and Econo Lodge is now our only choice for the rest of the journey. Pet friendly ;)

We spent tonight here on our way back to the States after a week crossing Canada. Of all the places we have stayed on this trip, it ranks the lowest. That said, it probably is worth the price we paid for the night. Front desk was very helpful and we have a hot breakfast bar in the morning. There's a... More

Three women and a dog, doing a road trip from Hamilton to the Yukon-we were looking for a reasonable cost. When we plotted out trip, we found the prices going up as we looked to keep our costs at a minimum. We were going to have a further 8 days in Whitehorse. So although we weren't overly impressed with the... More

I stayed at this hotel on a cross country trip from Vancouver to Toronto at the beginning of April this year. I thought that it would be a clean, reasonably priced place since it was part of a well known chain. But I was dead wrong! I arrived around 7:30 in the evening and asked for a single room that... There's nothing terribly wrong with this hotel, but there isn't exactly anything to brag about either. Pros: right on the main strip (easy to get to), beds were large and fairly comfortable, room was large enough, it was relatively clean, the wi-fi is pretty good, and the continental breakfast had a pretty good selection of hot and cold items. Cons:... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past, mainly because of its location on the main drag of Thunder Bay, and its proximity to a good bowling alley. I have always been satisfied with this hotel, and this trip, an overnighter for medical reasons, was as good as any other visit. The desk clerk was very... More

We stayed here on our way through for a nite, price was right as it allows pets also with a few restrictions, room was clean and shower was above average, checkout was a challenge as the room key cards stopped working well before checkout. The girl at the front desk wasnt impressed with having to reprogram the keys and the breakfast was just ok.

This hotel is the true meaning of you pay for what you get. The price isn't too high at all, but your not getting a whole lot. The halls had a slight smell of marijuana, the rooms were small and kind of tight. I understand it was winter and it was snowing, but the hotel driveway was covered in ice... More
