Good value hotel, was clean and quiet. Good access to various parts of city. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good access to Confederation College, which was helpful in getting our grandson settled for his year. Would definately stay there again.

Good place to stay for a night on your way across Canada. It was clean and fairly quiet. The staff were courteous and helpful. A good pet friendly option in Thunder Bay. It is also close to a number of amenities (food, Walmart, Chapters). We stayed here our way to Ontario from Alberta and decided to book here again on... More

I stayed at this Econo Lodge for 2 weeks, in December 2014. If you are looking for a basic place to stay with access to different parts of this city. Its a good recommendation.Gym needs improvement and so does they need to work a little bit on their breakfast serving efforts. It was cold. The staff was nice and friendly.... More

We didn't have any big issues with the room we got. The hotel staff were very nice, but I can say the breakfast wasn't the best. Very dry. It is worth about as much as you pay. You can get a bigger room with another franchise hotel chain for the same price. I can recommend it!

The hotel is in a great location, close to the highway and malls. The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was a bit small. You had to almost sit sideways on the toilet so you wouldn't bang your arm on the toilet paper holder. It would be better if it was placed on the wall across from the... More

Travelling through & booked last minute - so was happy to get a decent room with a good price. The room was clean, staff were personable & the bed was comfortable. Location was good as was easy access to the highway for those driving through …. Complaint would be the strong smell in the hallway that creeped into the room... More

I found the place to be very nice. Tho it was not a fancy room, it was nice and clean, with comfortable beds, and a nice roomy sized bathroom. The place was quiet during the night, when we needed to sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast took care of our morning hunger. It is also... More

A good budget hotel.Located close to a variety of restaurants. There is also a mall within walking distance. We paid about 90.00 (CAA discount) and this is a comparative bargain in Thunder Bay.Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay in Thunder Bay. Searched around for an affordable hotel as we we're just driving through. Econo Lodge was only $98+ tax, was clean, carried free wifi and complimentary breakfast. Definitely a high 3.5 Star, great little hotel & we will stay here again if need be.
