Unbelievably disappointed would be an understatement .. I have stayed and this hotel many times and the staffing has always been very nice! Since the new management I stayed and they front desk has been disgustingly rude. Argued with me about when we were to check out complained about it being another night when it was empty to begin with!... More

Great value, and modern comfortable rooms. Rooms are very clean ........kudo's to the housekeeping staff!! Also the day I checked in the front desk staff were great and attentive in every way. Asked and had the answers to all my queries. Will definitely stay again on my next road trip through Thunder Bay. As there is a Kelsey's Restaurant within... More

i have stayed here before. The hotel was built mid 60's and is a good motel. However it is a "tired" motel. There is wear and tear everywhere. HOWEVER, it is very reasonably priced and was booked full the two days I was here. The rooms are good, hot water, comfortable beds, flat screen TV's, fridge, wireless, coffee machine. It... More

Chose this hotel because they allowed pets. BAD CHOICE. Friendly service but not very knowledgeable. Asked for directions to 2 different places and neither helped us get there. Very hard to take pets in and out of hotel without hastle. Pets had to be on 2nd floor, no ground-floor rooms. Large dog-park nearby was by far the only good part... More

In a word, "RUN!" I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that I liked, even as a joke! Its in Ontario, and last time I checked NO hotels were allowed to have Smoking rooms anymore...Well, this place is the exception to the rule. There were people openly drinking beer in the parking lot. At 2am, drunk people were banging on... More

I have been staying at this hotel the last 5 or6 years now in August time. The staff is very friendly but the rooms are in desperate need of a disinfecting cleaning or a massive upgrade. The quality of this place is fading out slowly. Seeing stains on bed sheets is not very appealing.

Basic rooms with dated style and design, but what hotel that hasn't been built in the last 5 years isn't that way? Very good customer service and great location, walking distance to a few restaurants, shopping centre, groceries, etc. DO NOT EAT AT THE SUSHI PLACE NEXT DOOR. Pool heater was broken, vending machines were near to empty mind you... More

This hotel doesn't look too bad when you enter into the lobby, however the rooms leave a lot to be desired! The rooms were 'ok' but tired, basic and dated in areas. The bathroom was very very basic and clinical. The hotel was noisy, we felt as though the walls were made of paper as we could hear everything going... More

We checked in on Canada Day and front desk was extremely helpful as it was late at night. Our family of four stayed in a suite that was spacious and quiet. Complimentary breakfast and swimming pool made it a great family stay. Front desk was courteous and friendly at arrival and departure. Would definately stay here again!
