I really enjoyed my stay at the Victoria Inn. I had a very nice room, with large bathroom and nice size room. I really enjoyed having a room with a couch, and a nice size desk. I liked my bed..very good sleep and nice beding. I wish all hotel rooms, were as nice as the room I had at the... More

Stayed there for May 4&5, two children- one 3 years and one 6mos. Stayed on the first floor, first night. Noisy, you can hear everyone coming and going, pool doesn't close until 11pm so it is loud. Room clean. 2nd night upgraded to Family Suite with balcony over pool. Room clean, quieter and comes with 2nd room for the kids.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I am however sorry you found the first night noisy. We do have a security patrol on at 11:00 p.m. nightly to ensure a quiet hotel in the later hours. As you mentioned the pool area... More

Stayed here on a Friday as we passes through from Winnipeg to sault ste Marie. Easy hotel to find, lots of options for food within walking distance. Room was clean, no issues there. Bathroom is small and tight. I'm a bigger guy, had to stand beside the toilet to open the door. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Security patrol in... More

Staff were courteous. Nice follow up call after checking in. Room was very clean...a hint tired. Conveniently located. Pool was good too...even had 2 lifeguards on duty.( unfortunately water slide was not open...which was the main reason for selecting this property for my daughter) breakfast at the property was fine. Good service throughout stay.

The Victoria Inn is one of a small chains of hotels in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. I was booked at this hotel as part of a conference. The rooms are generous; mine had two queen beds, full bathroom, small fridge, TV, hairdryer, ironing board, coffee, and free wifi. My room faced the indoor swimming pool and water slide which made... Rooms are clean and comfortable, although somewhat dated. Beds are great. Negatives were very slow check in process and noisy till fairly late at night. Voices in hallways and in nearby rooms were annoying. It would help if staff would walk the halls and ask people to quiet down. The restaurant food was wonderful and arrived quickly. Wonderful free breakfast... More

We came to Thunder Bay to look for housing for post secondary education and for a bit of tourism. The staff were very helpful in making dinner reservations, giving us directions, etc. the room was nice, clean and ample in size. I read other reviews on here and requested a room in the back away from the pool, so no... More

Stayed here on a business trip this spring. Weather was fantastic but this hotel was not great. Rooms were dated and bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. Hotel was relatively clean but the restaurant for breakfast wasn't great either. Nothing terrible but nothing to write home about. Overall this place was okay but would likely not stay here again. Likely... More

Stayed there for 4 nights for a workshop nearby. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Because it had an indoor pool, there were a lot of kids staying there which can be very noisy. My first night there I was able to hear kids running around on my floor till late into the night....
