We recently celebrated my daughters 12th birthday. When we told some folks that we were holding our ‘pool party’ at the Landmark in I was surprised and a bit worried at the reactions….most along the lines of why on earth would I pick THAT place. A quick look at the on-line reviews from Tripadvisor and even I was beginning to... More

After a long tiresome drive we pulled into what looked like a nice hotel from the outside. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff member ( the only good part of our stay). We checked into our room and headed down for something to eat at their in hotel dining area. The tables were less than... More

If my cellphone's batteries hadn't died, I'd have been able to check this hotel's ratings and advise my wife not to book. We were passing through and in need of somewhere convenient to stay for the night. Unfortunately, a convenient location on the highway is the only thing this establishment has going for it. I really don't like giving bad... More

I have stayed at the hotel a number of times, and I can agree on some things like the décor is outdated but in all fairness it is an older hotel and that is to be expected. The rooms are clean and if they are not a simple call to the front desk will correct any other issues you may... More

Front desk staff were really friendly, as were other staff we ran into, but the whole place reeked of cigarettes and beer, even our room which was non-smoking. We paid as much as other hotels in town that had much better reviews. It looked ok from outside, pool looked nice from front desk but the rest was typical of a... More

After an exhausting 13 hour drive pulled up to the first place that crossed my path on the Trans Canada highway heading east out of town. The whole place reeks of cigarettes & stale draft beer. There cooked eggs smashed into the hallway walls, nasty carpet stains everywhere & human fecies (unbelievable) outside where I parked my car. The room... More

Once again I found myself staying at the Landmark Hotel because of a medical emergency and once again I found the staff to be amazing! My stay lasted for 6 weeks (with my large dog) and the staff and management did everything they could to accommodate my needs. My room was clean and comfortable but the walls are pretty thin... Thank you for your review. Our staff takes a lot of pride in helping our guests as much as we can. Going above and beyond has always been our strong point. With a lot of guests at the hotel for medical reasons, some for short term and long term, they become more than guests, they become life long friends. We... More

We arrived on Sunday Sept. 28. We had traveled 9 hours and just wanted a quiet place to sleep before another long journey. The woman at the front desk was friendly and we were given a room on the third floor (303). The room was dated but clean. The plug in the sink area was loose in the wall and... More

Thank you for taking time to review the Landmark Hotel. We welcome all feedback. I apologize on behalf of your neighbours, and do wish you would have called our front desk staff, as we do have security in the hotel who are employed to respond to guest complaints. The morning starter, all though it is done at 8:00, could have... More

Stayed here in July on way to S Ont. for 1 night. Room was clean, in good condition, and we slept well after an enjoyable time at the pool/hottub. Dinner at the inhouse resturant was quite good, the server acted like an old friend. He showed us several of the works of art ( fabulous paintings by Manitoba artist Jeff... More
