We went up to Thunderbay for a hockey tournament, and needed to stay at a place that was reasonably priced, as we had about 15 people with us. We got a great price for the week, and the manager was kind enough to accommodate our team. The rooms were clean and maintained. The rooms had everything we needed, and the... More

I hate giving out bad reviews but I feel people must know the truth. Why this place would get a good review is beyond me? There is a reason this place ranks so low. It is a terrible place to stay. Seems like the manager does not like his job; very aggressive, unfriendly and gave me a higher quote at... More

Me and my family stayed in this motel last two weeks. We have a great experience staying in there. Manager and all employees were great helping me with everything because I was new in town. They welcome me with hot coffee or tea and warm smile. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Our day started with free complimentary newspaper, and free... More

Kingsway was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, Small beds, very uncomfortable, pillows were like rocks, room smelled terrible. And the toilet paper was empty :( no local info in rooms no local fast food menus. Alarm clock didn't work, pluged my phone into charg and plugin sent sparks at me, no lamps in the room over all stay... More

Myself, and my friends stopped in thunder bay on a road trip. We were able to get a room for the night at a great price for students on a budget. The owner of the motel was kind, and was helpful when we required something, like a place to eat, or where to order in from, he was very reliable.... More

My husband and I went to the kingsway as we thought for 85 dollars we would get a decent - if not brilliant - night's sleep. When we entered the room, it was dimly lit and not particularly clean with a distinct odour. The bed had a noisy plastic cover that crunched under us every time we moved. We immediately... More

I didn't know what to expect when the agency that I work for booked me in here . I had a 6 week stay . My room was small but clean and comfortable . The room is equipped with a microwave, small sized refrigerator and a large flat screen TV. The manager is very nice and very helpful . The... More

The only reason we stayed at this dump is that it was the only motel that we could find that allowed pets. The bathrooms were dirty. The carpets were so filthy that your socks stuck to them. The owner/manager kept peeking in the windows. The room was tiny to boot. Avoid at all costs.

I stayed here for a week, as I was in town for business, I enjoyed coffee every morning, cabe t.v., newspaper, phone and wireless internet access for a fare price. I recommend staying at The Kingsway Motel clean and friendly neighbourhood.

By far the worst motel I have ever stayed in as it was unclean and unfit to be sold. The walls are paper thin, I could here the people from both rooms around me all night. When I had issues with the room the manager actually yelled at me and argued with me and refused to give me my money... More
