This was my spouse and I's second stay at the Voyageur. They are kind, professional and obviously put a lot of their time into the business. We stayed on the second floor (a smoking room, which was all that was left as this place books up fast) with our two dogs. The furniture, bed and fridge was brand-new. The television... More

I would not recommend the voyageur: AC was horrible it barely worked so I had to open the window for some cool air but then I was clearly able to hear the trains all night so my options were to try to sleep in a very very warm room or a warm room with grinding metal in the background. The... More

We arrived after a 15 hr drive very tired, owner asked if I wanted a queen or king, took the king, $75 including tax. Room very clean, large tv and great Internet (included), tiny fridge that worked great. I was so surprised at how comfortable both the bed and pillows were, and I am very picky. The only downside? The... More

Hi I stayed here for a night had a good rest, the owner was very interested in conversation and had a lot to say,I felt good about the staff and the room was one of the cleaner, newer quality rooms I've visited in the Cumberland hotel area. The price was 70$ which I felt was a bit high and the... More

I got an emergency message as soon as I arrived last September. I won"t bore you with the details but it required several long distance calls to Montreal and Vancouver. Realising my stress the previous owner named John let me use his cell phone. Sure, he had a long distance plan, but many a greedy person would would see this... More

I'd originally written the first review for this property on TripAdvisor and it was glowing with positives. However, I had to go back and make an edit. This place is a dump. It's under a new owner and I just checked in and checked out within 15 minutes. At check in, there was a language barrier. I reserved a non-smoking... More

This motel worked well for our needs, which was just somewhere to sleep for 1 night that was pet friendly. Yes, it is older and decor is mostly outdated but everything was very clean & functioned properly. Flat screen TV was brand new - still had plastic wrap on the base. Free wifi worked well.

Forced to pay for larger room than needed. Smelled of smoke. Though sheets etc. clean the soap (chemicals) way too strong. Safety latch none existent and windows unsafe to leave open for air. Fan in bathroom rattled so loadly and even shook the toilet.
