We recently stayed 3 nights at this motel after doing a bit of research and were very pleased overall! The price was right but we were a little hesitant, everything worked out quite well! It is fairly central just off of Arthur Street which has many restaurants and stores and not real far from the airport, the DeVinci Center is... More

Comfy bed and a clean room. Obviously out of date but they're attempting to modernize it with new lamps and furniture pieces. The bathroom mirror is a little on the high side, but luckily there's another mirror in the room. There is an ACTIVE railway 8ft from the motel but luckily it usually stops running by 2am. Unfortunately the walls... More

We stayed here for one night and found the rate to be very reasonable. The room was clean with a super soft bed. Mini fridge, microwave and single cup coffee maker was in the room. Would suggest getting a room on the ground level so you don't have to carry the luggage upstairs.

My son's heart /lung condition required that we move out of our house while the floors were being reconditioned. We were at this motel for 3 weeks. Altho it is beginning to show its age, you can also see gradual upgrades happening. Everything worked, we felt safe, the couple who run the place were quite helpful and accommodating. The weekly... Holiday Inn Motel is an excellent choice for someone that needs just a nights stay in Thunder Bay. I came to the motel after driving through a snow storm. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but could use a bit of an update. It had a TV, Hot shower, Mini Fridge, Microwave and Parking was provided.... More

Old carpet, bad odours, ugly decor, stained furniture, no hot water for a shower. It felt like Cuba... I do not recommend this place unless you sleep in your own sleeping bag with your clothes on. On the positive side? The gentleman at the desk - his own apt. was very nice.

This isn't the Ritz hotel but neither is the price. We were driving across Canada from Toronto to Kelowna and stopped here. We paid $90 after tax and got what we paid for. We've stayed in dirtier places for a lot more money. The customer service was good, Very friendly people. Beds were comfy and clean. Amenities included flat screen... More

I'd like to start off by saying I have nothing against cheap motels. We've been driving across Canada and typically staying in non chain motels around the $70 mark. We're not expecting modern beautiful rooms, just clean maintained places at a good price. This motel was not those things. First off the room and bedding smelled like cigarettes. The drapes... More

I arrived in Thunder Bay at 2am from Kingston ontario looking for an inexpensive place to crash for a few hours. They didn't answer the phone so I just showed up and rang the bell, the gentleman at the front desk (whom I believe I woke up) was very nice and accommodating, he charged me $65 for a room which... This was a very run down motel. I would not feel safe staying here. The curtains didn't cover the windows properly, the rug had white fur on it, one of the chairs had the legs tied together and the cupboards were disgusting. We were told it was a non-smoking room but it didn't smell like it was. It also had... More
