The place is renovated, and the room has a all new furnishings and television. We didn't really have any expectation before we got there. We could hear the people next to us go in and out of their room and the air conditioner/ heater was kind of loud when it turned on. Other than that, the place was fine.

I was very dissatisfied with the hotel overall. My room was very cold.It took a long time for it to warm up.I had to turn off the heater so I could fall asleep as it was very noisy. The bathroom was not very clean. There is no breakfest like the site states.I will not be returning or recommend it to friends and family.

Yes this place is newly renovated but not the whole hotel. You have to ask for a premuim room or you might get a regualr room and they do not post picutures of their regualr room on their website, which is a rent by the hour room. I ask what happened to the rooms that they have posted on their... More

I just want to bring to light some facts of the matter that you neglected to mention in your review. 1) You did not book online. You came in as a group booking with a Hockey tournament. The hotel was fully booked months in advance. All guests in this tournament were booked first come first serve. As your original group... More

We weren't sure what to expect, based on the reviews this place was a cross between some 'by the hour' place and a 'renovated improvement'. It has clearly been recently renovated, the room had that 'new rug' smell when we first arrived, clean sheets, decent beds, and a clean bathroom. Working television, new microwave, and a mid-sized bar fridge. HOWEVER,... More

We are sorry that you weren’t happy with your stay at the SudburyInn. We are still undergoing renovations which include the dining area and we are aware of the blind which we had custom ordered and was waiting for them to be completed and installed. The smell of smoke in the rooms is a mystery to us as those rooms... More

I wanted an inexpensive hotel for the night but I have high standards that rooms must be well kept and clean. After reading all the negative remarks (which I always take with a grain of salt), I waited until arriving to Sudbury to inspect the hotel myself. The recent renovations have completely transformed this hotel! The rooms are tastefully decorated,... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time i stayed there, it was a dump and i didnt even want to be in my room. However, the last time i went, it was dramatically different! the new management has really turned this place around! Everything looked and smelled clean, the exterior was repainted and looks so much better.... More

My TV didn't work, only 2 of the 6 light bulbs in the bathroom worked. I put on the heater to take the chill off the room and it sounded like it might blow up!. The ice machine rattled very nosily right across the hall from my room but I was too scared to open my door to get ice... More

I am not a picky person, I've stayed in plenty of $30/night motels while travelling many times, but this place was absolutely ridiculously disgusting. And it wasn't even cheap! -cigarette burns in sheets -bodily functions found in sheets and blankets -random doors ajar leading to garbage, booze bottles, and old televisions and microwaves -stained/rusted toilets and baths -toilet paper used... Upon arrival I noticed that my room seemed to be the only room still being used on that floor - all other rooms' door stood ajar with stripped interiors. Walking into the room I noticed 2 cheap earrings hanging on the lampshade - how romantic, instantly felt icky. Inspecting furniture proved frightening, every piece of furniture with material had bodily... More
